AILET test centres 2025 - NLU Delhi assigned AILET 2025 exam centers to candidates with the release of the AILET 2025 admit card on November 27, 2024, at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The adress of the designated test center was mentioned on the admit card.  

The university also updated the list of AILET 2025 test cities. The exam was not conducted in four cities: Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri. The updated list of test centers is available on this page.

Candidates could select their AILET 2025 exam centre while filling out the AILET 2025 application form. They could select a maximum of three centres in order of their preferences. It means the first test centre they select had to be their first preference. The second and third centres had to be their second and third choices, respectively.

Q:   What documents do I need to carry at AILET Exam centre?

A: 

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

  • AILET admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card. 
  • Photo: Candidates should carry an attested passport size photograph  (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
  • Stationary: Since the AILET 2024 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre
  • Disability certificate: The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category
  • Other items such as an analogue watch, transparent water bottle, face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are also to be carried to the test centre.

Q:   How will I know about the AILET exam centre allotted to me?

A: 

AILET exam centre 2025 will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other crucial details. Apart from name and address of allotted AILET exam centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines etc. Date for admit card release is published along with the information brochure on the official website. Candidates have to download the admit card for AILET 2025 after logging and providing details such as application ID, password and others.

Q:   Do I need to carry photographs along with AILET 2025 admit card on the exam day?

A: 

Yes, candidates should carry two stamp size photograph on the exam day along with the admit card. This photograph had to be affixed on the attendance sheet in front of the invigilator. The passport-size photograph should be the same as that uploaded during the AILET 2025 application process.  On the day of the AILET exam, candidates need to adhere to some guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.

  • Candidates must ensure carrying all the important documents and things (mentioned below) to the allotted test centre
  • Candidates should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam
  • Candidates should follow all the instructions given by the exam centre authorities and invigilators
  • Candidates should not indulge in any unfair means during the exam

How to Change AILET 2025 Exam Centre?

Once candidates select a maximum of three AILET exam centres and submit the application form, the selected centres cannot be changed. Thus, it is advised for candidates to select their AILET test centres carefully while filling out the AILET application form.

AILET 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the exam should read the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully. Some of the instructions for the exam day are:

  • Candidates should report their allotted test centre at least an hour before the exam timings i.e. by 1 PM, so as for the necessary verification to be done by the exam centre officials.
  • Candidates should carry at least one valid photo Id proof along with their admit card for AILET 2025 such as PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card/ Driving License/ Ration Card/ Passport etc. (in original as well as one copy). 
  • They should also carry their own pens (at least two) and one HB pencil for filling OMR answer sheet. The pens should be ballpoint and colour should be black or blue. 
  • Also, candidates should avoid taking any study material or items like calculator, mobile phone, digital watch, iPad, and jewellery to the exam centre.

Do’s & Don’ts at AILET Exam Centers 2025

Here is a list of Do's and Don'ts for AILET exam centres 2025:

Do's

  • Arrive at the exam center early: Plan your travel and accommodation well in advance to ensure you arrive at the exam center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Carry all necessary documents: Bring your AILET admit card, a valid photo ID proof, and any other required documents as specified by the exam authorities.
  • Dress appropriately: Wear comfortable and appropriate clothing that allows for easy movement and doesn't make any noise that could disturb other candidates.
  • Eat a light breakfast or meal: Have a balanced and nutritious meal before the exam to maintain your energy levels throughout the duration of the test.
  • Stay calm and focused: Avoid overthinking or getting anxious. Focus on the task at hand and give your best effort in the exam.
  • Read the instructions carefully: Before starting each section, carefully read and understand the instructions provided.
  • Manage your time effectively: Allocate time for each section based on your strengths and weaknesses. Don't spend too much time on a single question, and move on if you're stuck.
  • Review your answers: Once you've completed a section, take a few minutes to review your answers and make any necessary corrections.
  • Follow the invigilator's instructions: Pay attention to the invigilator's instructions and adhere to them strictly.

Don'ts

  • Carry any prohibited items: Do not bring any electronic devices, such as calculators, mobile phones, or laptops, to the exam center. Also, avoid carrying any study materials, notes, or handwritten notes.
  • Engage in any unfair practices: Do not indulge in any unfair practices, such as copying from other candidates, communicating with anyone during the exam, or using any unauthorized aids.
  • Talk or make noise: Avoid talking to other candidates or making any unnecessary noise that could disturb their concentration.
  • Leave the exam hall without permission: Do not leave the exam hall without the invigilator's permission, even if you need to use the restroom.
  • Bring any food or drinks: Do not bring any food or drinks into the exam hall.
  • Tamper with the exam paper or answer sheet: Do not write anything on the exam paper or answer sheet that is not related to the questions.
  • Discuss exam questions after the exam: Do not discuss exam questions with other candidates or anyone else until after the official results have been released.
