AILET Application Form 2025: The application process for AILET 2025 has been closed. The last date to fill out the AILET application form 2025 was November 18, 2024. NLU Delhi released the AILET 2025 admit card on November 27, 2024.
The AILET 2025 exam was conducted on December 8, 2024 by the National Law University Delhi. It is essential for candidates to thoroughly understand the application process to participate in the exam. The AILET 2025 direct application link is available on this page.

Note:
- NLU Delhi has removed Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Shimla, Kota, and Siliguri from the list of AILET 2025 test cities. Therefore, candidates will not be able to select these cities as their test centers. Candidates who have already chosen these test cities while filling out the AILET 2025 application form will be allotted a new test center.
- Filling out the application form and applying for the AILET 2025 exam will no guarantee for admission NLU Delhi. Candidates must also meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for AILET 2025 and qualify the entrance exam for their respective course.
- NLU Delhi has reduced the qualifying exam required percentage for general category candidates from 55% to 50% for admission to the LLM and Joint Masters/LLM in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management courses through AILET 2025. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum percentage to apply for these programmes is now set at 45%.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates applying for undergraduate or postgraduate courses, they need to fulfill the common eligibility criteria for the AILET 2025 exam as under:
AILET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB
To apply for AILET 2025 BA LLB course, candidates need to meet the following criteria:
- They must have completed Class 10+2.
- General category candidates need a minimum of 45% to apply for the AILET BA LLB exam.
- The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST category candidates is 40%.
- Candidates appearing for Class 12 can also apply for the BA LLB (Hons.) program through AILET, but they need their final marksheet at the time of AILET 2025 counselling.
AILET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for LLM
The AILET eligibility for LLM courses has been described below:
- Candidates must have completed a 3-year or 5-year LLB course from a recognised college/university.
- General category candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying exam (graduation).
- The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates is 45%.
- Candidates appearing for their final year LL.B. examinations are also eligible to apply, provided they can submit proof of their qualification at the time of admission.
AILET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for PhD in Law
Refer to the following points to learn about the AILET 2025 Phd in Law admission eligibility:
- Candidates must have completed an LL.M. degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
- General category candidates must have secured at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in their LL.M. or equivalent degree.
- SC/ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and PwD category candidates must have secured at least 50% marks or its equivalent grade in their LL.M. or equivalent degree.
- Candidates who have completed an M.Phil. degree or those who have qualified UGC-NET/JRF are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates are required to submit a detailed research proposal along with their application.
What all documents are required to fill AILET 2025 Application Form?
Candidates who wish to apply for AILET 2025, must fill AILET Application Form 2025 carefully. Candidates are advised to check the list of documents required to register for AILET 2025 before starting the process. The list of documents required to fill AILET 2025 application form has been mentioned below:
- Marksheet of Class 10th/ 12th and certificate
- Graduation mark sheet and certificate (For LLM - if available)
- Passport size photo with white background (Size should be less than 1 MB, format .jpg/.jpeg)
- Scanned signature (maximum size 1 MB, format - .jpg/.jpeg)
- BPL certificate (if you belong to the BPL category) (Max size - 2 MB)
- Passport (if you belong to a Foreign National (FN) category) (Max size - 2 MB)
- Your Email Address and valid mobile number
- Character certificate (Should not be less then 3 month old)
- Transfer certificate
- Relevant category certificate (for SC, ST, OBC, J&K category students)

Since the application form for AILET 2025 is available in online mode only, candidates can follow the simple steps to fill the AILET application form as described below:
Step 1: Online AILET 2025 Registration
1. Candidates need to visit the official website of NLU Delhi - http://www.nludelhi.ac.in or https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/
2. Click on 'Register to Apply Now' where you need to create a signup/ login account by providing the below-mentioned information:
- Name
- E-mail Address
- Create a Password
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
- Contact Address

3. Click on confirm registration, and log in again to fill the application form using your registered email address and password.
Step 2: Select the law course
- The exam is conducted for undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in law, therefore, candidates need to select the course they are applying for.
- For this candidates need to select the application form for – BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD in Law.
- Once, the candidates have selected the course in which they want to secure admission they need to click on the “Apply Now” button for the next step.
Step 3: Fill AILET 2025 application form
On successfully creating the AILET login account, candidates can fill the form to complete the application process of NLU Delhi admissions. Applicants will be required to fill the below given information in the detailed application form of AILET 2025:

Step 5: Pay the application fee
In the final step towards completing the application process, candidates have to do AILET Application Form 2025 Fee Payment as mentioned below:
Online mode - Candidates can pay the application fee using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking option through online payment gateway. To pay the application fee, candidates have to select the mode of payment as 'Online Payment Gateway' and fill in the details of the card or net banking and proceed to pay.
Offline mode - If candidates want to pay the application fee in offline mode then they have to select 'Cash Deposit at post office' as the mode of payment. Then they have to select their city, the nearest branch and a challan will be generated. Download it and pay the fee in cash at the selected branch within 48 hours of generating the challan. Once the fee has been paid, the updated status will reflect on the applicant's account within 72 hours.

Step 6: Application 2025 Form Submission
Once the application fee has been paid and the status for it is reflected in the applicant account, candidates have to cross-check the details entered on the form and submit it online only. Also, take printouts of the submitted application form for future references.

AILET 2025 PG Registration
The registration for AILET 2025 PG or AILET 2025 LLM exam was also started on August 1, 2024, at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates could fill out the application form until November 18, 2024. The steps for AILET 2025 LLM exam registration will be the same as those of AILET 2024 BA LLB registration (mentioned above). The AILET 2025 LLM entrance exam will be conducted on December 8, 2025 in offline mode allotted test centres.

AILET 2025 Application Correction Window
Candidates will be able to edit the AILET 2025 application form, if required, on the official website of the exam during the application correction window ascertained by NLU Delhi. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below for the same:
Step 1: Visit the official website of AILET.
Step 2: Click on the Already Registered? Login button.
Step 3: Login by entering user ID and password.
Step 4: Click on the Go to Edit Application Form button.
Step 5: Make the required changes in the details entered in the application form.
Step 6: Click on Submit button to submit the changes made.

What After AILET Registration 2025?
After the AILET 2025 registration, the National Law University Delhi released the AILET 2025 admit card or hall ticket on November 27, 2024. The admit card is a mandatory document that must be carried to the exam center. Along with this document, candidates also need to carry a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport). The steps to download the AILET admit card are as follows:

- Log in to your candidate account.
- Click on the admit card link to download your AILET admit card.
