The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2024 exam pattern mentions details about the question paper including subjects, marking scheme and other features. National Law University, Delhi will conduct AILET exam on December 10, 2023, in pen-paper based test mode. AILET 2024 Marking Scheme
The question paper carries 100 objective-type questions therefore, the marking scheme is as under:
- Each question carries one mark that will be awarded for each correct attempt
- In case, candidates have marked wrong options then negative marking will be done and for each wrong attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted.Â

AILET 2024 Negative Marking
There will be Negative Marking in AILET 2024. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of one (1) mark.
AILET 2024 Tie-breaking Method
If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) their merit will be decided as follows:
a) Senior Age;
b) Computerized draw of lots
