AILET Second Merit List 2025 (OUT): BA LLB, BCom LLB & LLM 2nd Merit List PDF & Category-wise Marks

The invite list carried the following information:

• The invite list was released category-wise
• It included the application number, roll number, total marks, and All India Ranks of candidates shortlisted for counselling.
• It also included the seat matrix and reservation for AILET 2025 admission process.
• The counselling schedule
•  The step-wise counselling process.

NLU Delhi offers law courses i.e. five-year Intergrated BA LLB (Hons.) course at the undergraduate level, One-year LLM course at the postgraduate level, and PhD courses at the doctorate level. For admission to the law courses,  NLU Delhi conducts its own law entrance exam known as the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), thus making it the only law school in India that does not accept the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

• AILET admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
• Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card. 
• Photo: Candidates should carry an attested passport size photograph  (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
• Stationary: Since the AILET 2025 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre
• Disability certificate: The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category
• Other items such as an analogue watch, transparent water bottle, face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are also to be carried to the test centre.

Candidates are not allowed to carry following items to AILET 2025 Examination hall:

• Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators etc.
• Handwritten notes
• Manuals and digests
• Any other form of study material

The AILET 2025 first merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.), LLM and PhD in Law courses is now out at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. To check the merit list, they can use the following steps: 

• Go to the official AILET Portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. 
• Navigate the "Notification" section on the portal's homepage. 
• Look for the "First BA LLB (Hons.)/BCom LLB (Hons.)/LLM/Phd in Law Merit List" link. 
• Click on the link. 
• The merit list will open in a new tab. 

The registration for AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) 2025 was started on August 1, 2024. The National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) will close the application process on November 18, 2024. The process for selecting test centers for AILET 2025 can be done while filling out the AILET 2025 registration form at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

During the registration process, candidates will be asked to select their preferred test centers from the list of available centers. The list of test centers for AILET 2025 was released by NLU Delhi along with the official notification. It is important to note that the availability of test centers is subject to change every year, and candidates should select their test centers carefully based on their convenience and accessibility. It is advisable to check the official website regularly for updates on the AILET 2025 exam and its registration process.

The methodology followed to determine the merit rank if two or more candidates score the same marks in AILET 2025 is explained below.

BA LLB program 

1. If two or more candidates get the same marks, their merit will be determined on the basis of higher marks in the logical reasoning section.
2. If the tie persists, then the candidate senior in age will be given preference.
3. If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then the merit rank will be decided by the computerized draw of lots.

LLM program
