AP LAWCET Cut Offs 2024

The AP LAWCET 2024 cut-off will be category-specific and indicate the minimum marks one needs to secure in the AP LAWCET 2024 exam in their respective categories for admission to a participating institute. The cutoff is not fixed, but may vary depending on a host of factors like - seat intake, merit ranks of applicants, category, and also the popularity of the law college.

In 2024, the difficulty level of the AP LAWCET 2024 3-year LLB exam was moderate to difficulty. Thus, the expected AP LAWCET 2024 3-year LLB cut offs for top law colleges were between 450 to 700. However, the 5-year LLB entrance exam was moderately difficult. Therefore, the cut offs for top colleges accepting the AP LAWCET 2024 5-year LLB scores were between 290 and 550. Note that the admission cutoff was not the same as the AP LAWCET 2024 qualifying cutoff, which is the minimum criteria for sitting in the counselling process.

How will be the AP LAWCET 2025 Cutoff determined?

The cut-off will be released separately for each participating college. The admission committee will consider the following factors to determine the cut-off:

  • The total sanctioned seats for the 3-year or 5-year LLB program
  • Total number of applicants
  • The AP LAWCET 2025 merit ranks of these applicants
  • The category under which admission is sought.
  • The popularity of the college the applicant has applied for admission.

AP LAWCET Cutoff - Key Features

  1. The cutoff is released for all the participating law colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
  2. Also, the cutoff is category-specific.

What is the AP LAWCET cutoff? The admission cutoff is the minimum marks or score you need to secure in the AP LAWCET 2024 exam to get admission to the applied college.

  • Note that you can select your choice of colleges at the time of counselling registration.
  • The cutoff depends on variables like seat intake, total applicants, quality of applicants, etc. So, you need to check the cutoff trends over the years to get an idea as to what is a safe score for admission.

Important points about AP LAWCET 2025 qualifying marks / percentage

  1. The qualifying marks is category-specific
  2. What does AP LAWCET qualifying marks mean? The qualifying marks are the minimum marks a candidate needs to qualify (or pass) the AP LAWCET exam. Only such candidates who qualify in the AP LAWCET 2025 exam will be considered for admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses.
  3. SC/ST candidates - Candidates from SC/ST candidates don’t have to score any minimum marks. They simply need to appear in the entrance exam to be eligible for participation in next rounds of admission.
  4. Qualification in AP LAWCET 2025 exam is no assurance of admission - It is because the allotment of seats will be based on AP LAWCET score (or merit rank). In fact, the counselling and seat allotment process will be conducted using the AP LAWCET 2025 merit list as a reference.
