AILET 2025: NLU Delhi has released the AILET 2025 First Merit List on December 27, 2024. The AILET 2025 Counselling Registration was closed on December 22, 2024.The university released the AILET Result and AILET Final Answer Key on December 12. The AILET counselling fee of INR 30,000 (INR for reserved category candidates) will be refunded only to candidates who have successfully registered for the counselling and paid the fee but due to but due to higher cutoff could not find a place in the merit list. The refund will be initiated by NLU Delhi on completion of the admission process, whichever is earlier. The counselling fee will be refunded to the same account from which it was paid.

AILET 2025 Counselling
AILET counselling is conducted online via the AILET Portal, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The counselling process includes the following steps:
AILET Counselling Registration and Submission of the Registration Fee
Candidates were required to register for counselling at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. During this registration process, candidates were required to submit scanned copies of their educational documents, ID proofs, and other relevant documents and pay the registration fee.Â
AILET Merit Lists
NLU Delhi released AILET First merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses to shortlist eligible candidates for admission on December 27, 2024. The university will be releasing four merit lists for each of the two courses.Â
Submission of the Admission Fee
If a candidate is selected on the AILET merit list, he or she will have to pay the admission fee online before the deadline ascertained by NLU Delhi.
Reporting to College

AILET 2025 Merit List
NLU Delhi releases the merit lists for AILET BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM in different stages. The merit list for AILET is course-specific list that includes the names, admit card numbers (AILET roll numbers), and ranks of candidates eligible for admission. The AILET 2025 merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses will be released separately after the announcement of the AILET 2025 results. AILET 2025 Admission Process
The admission process of NLU Delhi through AILET 2025 includes the following steps:
Step 1: Online Registration
Candidates can register online on the official website of NLU Delhi - https://nludelhi.ac.in and fill all the required details in the application form, upload prescribed documents and pay the exam fee. The AILET application form 2025 for AILET can be submitted in online mode only. Â
Step 2: AILET 2024 Admit Card
NLU Delhi issues admit cards to candidates who successfully register for the exam. Candidates have to carry the admit card of AILET 2025 on exam day. Any candidate carrying the admit card is not allowed to appear for the exam.Â
Step 3: AILET 2025 Exam - Candidates have to appear for AILET at the allotted test center as mentioned on the admit card. They should report at the test centers at least an hour before the examination.Â
Step 4: Result Declaration -Â NLU Delhi usually announces AILET results within a month after conducting the examination. The scorecards of candidates qualifying the examination mention their All India Ranks (AIRs), sectional scores as well as overall scores.Â
Step 5: Counselling - The university conducts AILET counseling based on the rank list released at the time of the result. In the counselling session, qualifying candidates are allotted seats in their respective law courses based on merit.Â

AILET 2025 Result
NLU Delhi declared results of AILET 2025 on the official website of NLU Delhi. Candidates will be able to check their qualifying status for BA LLB and LLM entrance exam by entering their credentials on the result login window. The result-cum-scorecard of AILET 2025 will include details like the marks, rank, and qualifying status of the candidate.Â
How to check AILET 2025 results?
To check AILET results, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

- Candidates will be redirected to the result log-in windowÂ
- Here they need to enter AILET 2024 registered mobile number and password
- On log-in, the scorecard for AILET 2024 will be displayed on screen in downloadable pdf format
- Download and take a printout of the scorecard for future references.
What is AILET?
All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted by National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) for admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level law courses. This is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to law programmes at NLU Delhi only. The exam will be held in a pen-paper-based mode from 11:00 am to 1.00 pm.Â
Note:Â No other entrance exam is accepted for NLU Delhi admissions. CLAT 2025 score is also not acceptable for admission to NLU Delhi.

- Click on the "Register" link and submit the following details: name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email ID, religion, and category.
- Submit the OTP provided to you via email/SMS to complete the registration.

- Fill out the application form and upload a scanned copy of your signature and passport-size photo.
- Check all the entered details. If these details are correct, pay the application fee.
- Submit the form and download it as a PDF for future reference.

If you forget your AILET 2025 account log in password, use the following steps to retrieve it:Â

- Enter your username/registered email.Â

AILET 2025 Admit Card
The National Law University (NLU), Delhi made AILET 2025 Admit Card available for download on November 27, 2024 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Admit cards will be issued only to those candidates who have successfully completed the AILET 2025 application process in online mode.
Candidates will not be able to recieve their AILET admit card in offline mode. The admit card of AILET 2025 is the most important document to appear in the AILET exam 2025.
How to Download AILET Admit Card 2024?
To download the AILET hall ticket, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NLU Delhi -Â http://www.nludelhi.ac.in.Â
Step 2: Click on the AILET Admissions button.
Step 3: Click on the 'Already Registered? Login' button.
Step 3: You will be redirected to the login window where you need to enter the following details:
- Application number
- Password
Step 4: Click on Login button.
Step 5: View, download, save and print the AILET admit card.
Note: Candidates should proceed to download the admit card in colour print (if black and white, then it should mention test centre details and candidates photograph clearly). Also, candidates should get extra printouts of the admit card to be on a safer side in case they misplace it.Â

AILET 2025 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

On the day of the exam, it is important for candidates to adhere to some guidelines so that they do not have to go through any hassle at the last minute. Check out some important AILET 2025 exam day guidelines below.

Candidates must ensure that they are carrying the below-mentioned documents and things to the allotted AILET exam centre 2025:

- Questions were on expected lines on synonyms, word meanings, analogy, idioms, foreign phrases, and phrasal verbs

Logical Reasoning
- A lot of AR questions around Bood Relations, Relations, and Data Arrangement (DA). Some of the questions may not directly look like DA questions, but the candidate needs to use skills similar to those required for DA to solve these questions. The same applies to questions on blood relations.
- Major CR questions are inferential in nature
- A couple of questions with basic maths orientation. While they were not core mathematics questions, but to solve these questions, you need basic math skills.Â
