The NLU Delhi scheduled the AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) 2026 for tomorrow, on December 14, 2025. The AILET exam is held for admission to the BA LLB and LLM courses at the National Law University Delhi. The exam will be conducted in offline mode as a pen-paper based test from 2 pm to 4 pm. The candidates appearing for the exam have to carry their AILET Admit Card 2026 along with a valid ID proof to the allotted test centre. The candidates can download the hall ticket from the website- nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

The National Law University Delhi will also conduct the AILET PG 2026 exam on the same day for admission to the LLM program, along with the AILET UG 2026 exam. Q:   Does NLU Delhi accept any other entrance exam for admission?
A: 

The entrance exam accepted for admission to the BA LLB and LLM courses at the NLU Delhi is AILET. No other entrance exam is accepted for the admission to the institute. Candidates appearing in any other Law entrance exam such as CLAT, MHCET Law, SLAT, will have to appear for the AILET to increase their scope of admission to NLU Delhi.

AILET Admit Card 2026

NLU Delhi released the AILET 2026 Admit Card on November 26. The AILET 2026 admit card is issued to the candidates who register for the exam within the deadline. Candidates with the hall ticket will be allowed to enter the examination hall only. As per the official notification, candidates will have to carry a valid identity proof along with their admit card to the examination hall for verification.

How to Download AILET Admit Card 

To download the AILET hall ticket, candidates have to follow the process given below

  • Visit the website of NLU Delhi
  • Click on the AILET Admissions button.
  • Click on the 'Already Registered? Login' button.
  • On the login window, enter your Application number and Password.
  • Click on the Login button.
  • View, download, save, and print the AILET admit card.

Note: Candidates should proceed to download the admit card in colour print (if black and white, then it should mention test centre details and candidate's photograph clearly). Also, candidates should get extra printouts of the admit card to be on the safe side in case they misplace it.

Candidates must note that the AILET Exam 2026 has negative marking too. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark.
