CLAT 2025 scores is considered in many PSUs for recruitment. In order to get selected, candidates need to score more then the CLAT cutoff and also the cutoff/ score announced by each organisation for a vacancy. Candidates must pass Class 12 examination by April/May 2026 and submit the passing certificates at the time of admission.

In order to be eligible for CLAT 2026, aspirants must have passed Class 12 exams or an equivalent examination from any recognised board or institution in the country. However, such aspirants will have to produce the certificate of qualifying examination at the time of admission failing which their admission will be cancelled by the competent authority. Candidates who have completed class 12th or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board can appear for CLAT 2026 Exam. PSUs in the country are categorised in four types based on parameters like listing in the Indian Stock Exchange, global presence, annual revenue, and income generated. Companies under different categories are given in the table below:
- Maharatna
Companies that have an annual turnover of INR 20,000 crore on an average for three years and an average net worth of combined value of assets INR 10,000 crore will be called as maharatna company.
- Navratna
CPSEs with a schedule A along with a Miniratna Category 1 status can be eligible for navratna, which gives power to the PSU to invest up to INR 1,000 crore without government approval.
- Mini-Ratna
CPSEs that have made profits in the last three years continuously and have a positive net worth are eligible for miniratna grant status.
PSU Recruitment for Legal Advisors through CLAT
The exam conducting authority for CLAT 2025 is the National Law Universities (NLUs). Candidates must go through all the eligibility conditions prescribed by the authorities before applying for PSU recruitment through CLAT 2025. While qualifying CLAT is one of the eligibility conditions, there are various other requirements such as age limit, pass percentage of CGPA obtained during graduation, and others specified by the PSUs for recruitment of candidates.
