No, NALSAR University of Law does not grant admission without CLAT score. Hence, the course aspirants must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and secure a valid score. CLAT is a pen and paper based test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). After the entrance exam, cutoff marks are announced. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria become eligible for participation in the CLAT counselling.

Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC and ST categories) to apply for NALSAR University of Law BA LLB (Hons) programme. There is no age limit specified by the university for admission. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, aspirants must have qualified CLAT.

NALSAR admission to Law courses including, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law is based on CLAT cutoff. NALSAR University of Law, don’t offer admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes without a valid CLAT score. For taking admission in BA LLB in Nalsar University a candidate is needed to have minimum 45% in aggregate in 12th. For LLM a candidate is needed to have minimum 55% in aggregate in LLB . For taking admission in MBA, a candidate needed to have Bachelor's degree with atleast 50 % aggregate. For MBA, a candidate needed to have Bachelor's degree from recognised university. For BBA Masters degree in any discipline with minimum of 55 % aggregate is required .
