Multiple-choice questions are asked in the SLAT question papers. Candidates are required to answer these questions in a computer-based test mode (online). They will also be able to skip questions if they do not know their answers. However, it is recommended for all SLAT candidates to answer all questions because there is no negative marking scheme in the SLAT exam. The option of marking for review is also available for questions in the SLAT question paper. Candidates can answer these questions later before clicking on the submit or end exam button.

It includes five sections, namely, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, General English, and General Knowledge. Each section contains 12 questions and each question carries one mark. Thus, the total number of questions in the SLAT question paper is 60. Candidates receive 60 minutes or 1 hour to answer all 60 questions using the best of their knowledge. The amount of time candidates need to devote to solving SLAT completely depends on them. A:

The difficulty level of the SLAT and CLAT exams varies depending on the strengths and weaknesses of candidates who take these entrance exams. These strengths and weaknesses are related to their level of expertise in the subjects in which questions are asked in SLAT and CLAT.

Although a general overview of the sectional difficulty can help aspirants understand which of the two law entrance exams is more difficult. The level of questions in the English and legal sections also varies. The English section of CLAT is more difficult. The GK section of SLAT is easier than CLAT. If you compare the number of applicants per seat, then CLAT is definitely tougher than SLAT.

As per an analysis of previous exam-related trends, in CLAT. Approximately 17 candidates compete for just one seat. If the candidates compare the seats, then CLAT is a little harder than SLAT. If you compare the syllabus, then the SLAT syllabus is easier than the CLAT syllabus.

There are chances of repetition of questions from the past 2-3 years in the latest question paper of SLAT. However, there is no guarantee that the exam conducting authority will do so. The law entrance exam in which questions are asked in English and Marathi is MH CET Law, which is conducted by the Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell Maharashtra.
