Types of MCom Courses
The two-year MCom course is ideal for students who wish to pursue a career in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector. The course is also ideal for candidates who have an interest in the field of commerce and accounting. The MCom course delves deeper into the functioning of the economy, revenue, trade, capital, etc.

- MCom Full-Time Degree Course: A full-time MCom course is a two-year duration course and is the most sought after MCom course in the country. Admission to the MCom course is done through entrance exams or marks obtained in graduation. There are over 3400 MCom colleges in India that offer the MCom course in the full-time mode of education.
- Part-Time MCom Course: The duration of a part-time MCom course is also two years however, students are not required to give an entire day for the classes. The classes for part-time MCom courses are usually held in the evenings or on weekends. Admission to MCom courses is provided on the basis of marks/percentage obtained in graduation. There are approximately 80 part-time MCom colleges in India.
- Distance/Correspondence MCom Course: The duration of the distance MCom course can vary between two and five years.
