These are first-hand student accounts on how our young population is managing to keep their exam prep or college course work going from the confines of their homes. In case you want to share your lockdown study experience, write to us at publish@shiksha.com.

The admission process for LBSIM is the same under the current lockdown situation. LBSIM has a robust selection system where the students are tested in three stages. First, the shortlisting is done via the CAT exam, the second stage involves a written ability test followed by a group discussion. Finally, an interview panel comprising of our esteemed faculties take the interview of the candidates. The interview mostly revolves around analysing the candidate’s knowledge base and aptitude.

LBSIM started the admission process in the month of January itself. The Interview and GD Process took place in more than nine cities in different parts of India. LBSIM has a diverse cultural student body which is further strengthened by the recruitment process. The final admission results were announced on April 17 on LBSIM’s official website.

The new batch, if the situation becomes normal by that time, is expected to start in the second week of June. There will be an orientation program for the first few days in which the students will be introduced to the faculties, clubs, and the rich legacy of the institute.

The new batch would be joining the institute in its silver jubilee year!

LBSIM opened its gates to the students back in 1995 and from then gradually it has become one of the most recognisable brands in the Education sector. Established by the Lal Bahadur Shastri Educational Society, it has emerged as one of the top business schools in the country.

Our institute takes immense pride in being one of the foremost institutes in providing value-based management education, thus developing professionals with a humane and pragmatic approach on the march towards corporate excellence.

The campus is located at a walking distance of around 100 meters from the Delhi Metro line and thus, can be reached with ease by students living anywhere in Delhi/NCR.

Excellent arrangements have been made for boarding and lodging for students desirous of residing near the campus.

All along the admission process, the corporate relations cell of our institute has been in direct communication with the incoming batch of 2020. Along with that, the Media and Communications Cell has played an integral part in handling the queries of the students.

LBSIM has an incredible social presence on sites like Instagram, Facebook and many more where the students work tirelessly to answer all queries.

Apart from the above methods, LBSIM also maintains two groups on WhatsApp which have been joined by the aspirants for quick solutions or answers and to build a more personal bond with the new batch and make them feel welcomed.
