The total course fee for PGP offered at IIM Ahmedabad is INR 23 Lacs. IIM A charges INR 18 Lacs as its course fees. This includes academic support, tuition, accommodation, basic healthcare, medical insurance and alumni association membership fee. While all the courses at IIMA are full-time and residential, the PGPX is a one-year programme while PGP is for two years. No, one can't join IIM without CAT. Candidates seeking admission to the IIM Ahmedabad MBA course must appear for CAT and secure 90 percentile. The Institute considers Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds for final admission to IIM Ahmedabad along with CAT results.
