IBSAT 2024 result will be declared in last week of December 2024 at general.ibsindia.org. Test-takers can check and download the IBSAT scorecard online from the official website. Based on the score obtained candidates will be called for the Micro Presentation/Personal Interview rounds which will be held from February 15 to February 24, 2025. Candidates with valid scores in CAT / GMAT®️ / NMAT by GMACTM scores (from 2022 onwards) or XAT scores (from 2023 onwards) can directly appear for the selection process for IBSAT 2024. To download the IBSAT 2024 result, candidates have to log in to the IBSAT website using their registration id and password. Read below all about IBSAT 2024 results.

Q:   How and when will I receive my IBSAT score card?

A:

IBSAT 2024 scorecard will be released at general.ibsindia.org. Candidates who will appear for the IBSAT exam, scheduled on December 28 and December 29, 2024, will be able to check their results online. Candidates who will shortlisted, must appear for the micro presentation/PI rounds on given date and time along with the required documents. Th final selection will be offered on the basis of the performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Q:   What does IBSAT selection process comprise of?

A:

IBSAT selection process comprises of two rounds:

  1. Micro Presentation: In this round, candidate will have to present on a topic in brief. Candidates will be given three topics and choose any one topic from it. This is done to test the communication skill of candidates.  
  2. Personal Interview (PI): Those who have successfully cleared the micro presentation round are called for PI round. This PI round judges your communications skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round. 

Candidates who will qualify the IBSAT or any other national level entrance exam will have to appear for the IBS selection rounds which will be conducted in February/March 2025.

Q:   I have forgotten password for IBSAT login. How can I retrieve the credentials?

A:

If you have forgotten your IBSAT login password, you can reset it by following these steps:

Step 1- Go to the IBSAT login page and click on the "Forgot Password" tab.

Step 2- Enter your registered email address to receive the link for chamging passowrd.

Step 3- A link will be sent on the registered email address.

Step 4- Click on the link and reset the password and click on the "Submit" button.

Step 5- Once you have reset your password, you can log in to your IBSAT account, book the exam slot and download your admit card. If you face any issues while resetting your password, you can contact the IBS office helpline or send an email to the IBS helpdesk for assistance.

Candidates can check their results for IBSAT 2024 exam by following the steps given below: 

  • Visit the official website

  • Click on the ‘IBSAT 2024 results’ in the notification bar

  • A new window will open for IBSAT result window

  • Enter your Application Number and Password

  • Click on the 'Login' button to get your result

Q:   Is the IBSAT exam mandatory for securing admission to the PGPM programme at IBS Dehradun?

A:

No, it is not mandatory, as individuals meeting the institute's specified criteria are excused from taking the exam. Additionally, the subsequent candidates are also exempted from participating in the IBSAT exam:

ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad releases the IBSAT cutoff along with the declaration of results. The minimum required IBSAT cutoff scores for getting a GD/PI call scheduled at IBS Hyderabad is given below: 1. CAT & XAT 60 percentile and above 2. GMAT 500 + 3. NMAT by GMACTM 150+ The minimum cutoff score for INR 2 Lacs scholarship eligibility criteria is 1. CAT Top 75 candidates with a minimum score of 90 percentile and above 2. XAT Top 25 candidates with a minimum score of 80 percentile and above 3. GMAT TM Top 25 candidates with a minimum score of 550 and above 4. NMAT by GMAC TM Top 100 candidates with a minimum score of 225 and above. Candidates will be able to check the updates cutoff score on release of the IBSAT score. Q:   What is the validity of IBSAT scorecard?

A:

The validity of IBSAT score is one year. This means that candidates who take the IBSAT exam in 2023 will have to apply for admission to the ICFAI Business School (IBS) within current academic year of the exam date. If a candidate does not apply for admission within the one-year validity period, they will not be able to use their IBSAT score to seek admission to the IBS campuses.

Q:   Can I request for re-evaluation of IBSAT scores?

A:

No, candidates cannot request for re-evaluation of IBSAT 2024 scores after the release of the scorecard. The IBSAT scorecard is generated based on the answers provided by the candidate at the time of exam, and once it is released, it cannot be altered or changed.

However, if candidates feel that there is an error in the calculation of their scores, they can reach out to the admissions team of IBS and request for a review of their scores. They will review candidates request and provide with a clarification or correction, if necessary.

IBSAT Selection Briefings 2024

The institute organises special sessions to offer insight into the programmes and processes conducted by IBS. Once the briefing rounds are over, candidates need to appear for the GD and PI round as per the schedule mentioned in the official documents.  

Selection Process

Candidates who have qualified for the minimum IBSAT cut-off are shortlisted for the selection process, comprising Micro Presentation and a Personal Interview round. The IBSAT selection process is conducted only at IBS Hyderabad for all the campuses. The rounds will be conducted in offline mode.

  • Micro presentation: In this round, candidate will have to demonstrate their presentation, communication skills and ability to think quickly. Candidates will have to choose one topic from three topics. The duration of the micro presentation is four minutes in which one minute will be given for preparation and three minutes for delivering the presentation.
  • Personal Interview: PI round judges communication skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude of the candidate. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round.
  • Admission: Based on the final selection result, candidates have to take admission in one of the nine IBS Business Schools as per their cutoff and final selection criteria.

IBSAT selection process commences soon after the declaration of results. IBSAT 2024 selection rounds will be held from February 15 to 24, 2025, at IBS Hyderabad. IBSAT 2023 results were announced on December 28, 2024. Candidates who will qualify the IBSAT exam or have qualified the CAT (2021 onwards), XAT (2021 onwards), NMAT by GMAC (2021 onwards) or any other national level or state-level entrance examination will have to appear for the following rounds:
