IBSAT exam 2026 will be held on online proctored mode. Candidates appearing for the IBSAT exam must check the important instructions pertaining to IBSAT exam mentioned below:

1. Students must login 10 minutes prior to the commencement time. Candidates will not be able to login for IBSAT exam 10 minutes after the commencement of exam.
2. Candidates must sit for the entire duration of exam. No bio breaks will be allowed during the exam.
3. Username and password for the mock examination and final exam will be sent on registered email ID
4. Do not wear mask or cover face with anything during the verification process.
5. Candidates are not allowed to access book or internet for any kind of information.
6. Candidates will not be permitted to take photo or video record the screen while taking the exam.
7. Candidates will not be permitted to use headphone, noise cancellation, Bluetooth devices during the examination.
8. The exam will be auto submitted after the completion of the duration.
9. It is advised to use the same laptop/ mobile/ tablet/desktop to appear for the IBSAT mock test and for the IBSAT final online examination.

Candidates who wish to pursue MBA/ PGPM programme from ICFAI Business School (IBS) need to appear for IBSAT exam. This is held in computer-based mode. IBSAT comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that are distributed among 4 sections Verbal Ability. Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency and Data Interpretation. 1. Verbal Ability: The questions are based on sentence correction, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, grammar, idioms etc. The No. of questions asked in Verbal Ability section is 50.

2. Reading Comprehension: The candidates are required to read the passages and answer the questions based on these passages. No. of question asked is 25.

3. Quantitative Aptitude: Question are from numerical ability and problem-solving skills of the candidates. The questions are based on topics like algebra, LCM, HCF, mensuration, ratio & proportion, geometry, time & speed, statistics, probability, simple & compound interest, permutations & combinations etc.

4. Data Sufficiency & Data Interpretation: The questions are based on pie charts, tables, bar/ line graphs etc. These questions must be answered on the basis of quick calculations.
