IBSAT 2024 selection process will be conducted from February 15 to February 24, 2025 at IBS Hyderabad. IBSAT selection round will now consist of a micro presentation instead of group discussion. IBS will conduct IBSAT 2024 selection process rounds offline. IBSAT 2024 selection process result will be announced at ibsindia.org. Selection rounds are conducted by ICFAI Business School for admission to IBS 8 campuses. Candidates who will have a valid score in IBSAT 2024 or CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP/NMAT/GMAT/MAH CET or any other state-level entrance examination (score valid from 2022 onwards) were eligible to appear for the selection rounds. Authorities declared the result for the IBSAT selection process 2024 for admission to the PGPM programme of IBS Hyderabad. Admission to IBS 8 campuses—Bengaluru, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune will be offered on the basis of candidates’ overall performance in academics and GD/PI.

Q:   What is the admission process through the IBSAT exam?

The admission process through IBSAT exam at ICFAI Business School (IBS) typically involves several steps. Here's a an overview:

1. Fulfill IBSAT Eligibility: Ensure that you meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by IBS to appear for IBSAT, which may include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, a competitive entrance exam score (such as CAT/GMAT/NMAT/IBSAT), and a minimum prescribed percentage in your undergraduate studies.

2. IBS Aptitude Test: Depending on the specific IBS campus you are applying to, you may need to take an entrance exam such as CAT, GMAT, NMAT by GMAC, or IBSAT. Check the specific requirements for the campus you are interested in.

3. Application: Complete the online IBSAT 2024 application form provided by IBS, providing your personal details, academic background, entrance exam scores, and other required information. You may also need to submit essays, recommendation letters, and a resume.

Q:   When will be IBSAT results announced?

A:

IBSAT 2024 results will be announced soon after the exam is conducted. ICFAI Foundation of Higher Education will conduct IBSAT 2024 exam on December 28 and December 29, 2024. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to check their IBSAT result online by entering the login credentials. Candidates will be required to enter their IBSAT application number and date of birth to access the IBSAT scorecard. The IBSAT result mentions sthe candidate's details, section wise score and overall scores obtained. Candidates must check the details mentioned on the scorecard carefully. Candidates mjust take the print of the IBSAT scorecard soon after the release. No physical copy of the IBSAT scorecard will be issued seperately to the candidates.

What is IBSAT Selection Briefing?

The authorities organise a session to introduce candidates to the programmes and admission process of IBS. Once the selection briefing process is over candidates will have to appear for the selection rounds- Micro presentation and Personal Interview as per the prescribed schedule. 

IBSAT 2024 Selection Process

IBSAT selection process is conducted in offline mode at IBS 8 campuses and IBS Hyderabad head office. Candidates desiring to take admission to the programmes offered by IBS campuses must go through the selection rounds. The IBSAT selection process 2024 consists of the following rounds: 

  • Micro Presentation: In this round, candidate will have to present on a given topic for 3 minutes. Candidates will be given three topics from which they can choose any one topic to present on. This is done to test the communication and thinking skills. 
  • Personal Interview: Those who have successfully cleared the GD round are called for PI round. This PI round judges your communication skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round. 
  • Admission: Based on the final selection result, candidates have to take admission in one of the nine IBS Business Schools as per their cutoff and final selection criteria. 

Q:   What does IBSAT selection process comprise of?

A:

IBSAT selection process comprises of two rounds:

  1. Micro Presentation: In this round, candidate will have to present on a topic in brief. Candidates will be given three topics and choose any one topic from it. This is done to test the communication skill of candidates.  
  2. Personal Interview (PI): Those who have successfully cleared the micro presentation round are called for PI round. This PI round judges your communications skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round. 

Candidates who will qualify the IBSAT or any other national level entrance exam will have to appear for the IBS selection rounds which will be conducted in February/March 2025.

IBSAT selection process commences soon after the declaration of results. IBSAT 2024 selection rounds will be held from February 15 to 24, 2025, at IBS Hyderabad. Only candidates who will qualify the IBSAT 2024 or have qualified any of the national level entrance examinations- NMAT by GMAC, CAT, XAT scores are also called for the selection process during the prescribed period. The IBSAT 2024 selection process will consist of micro presentation and personal interview. Q:   What is the expected cut-off of IBSAT for IBS Hyderabad and Mumbai campus?

A:
ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad releases the IBSAT cutoff along with the declaration of results. The minimum required IBSAT cutoff scores for getting a GD/PI call scheduled at IBS Hyderabad is given below: 1. CAT & XAT 60 percentile and above 2. GMAT 500 + 3. NMAT by GMACTM 150+ The minimum cutoff score for INR 2 Lacs scholarship eligibility criteria is 1. CAT Top 75 candidates with a minimum score of 90 percentile and above 2. XAT Top 25 candidates with a minimum score of 80 percentile and above 3. GMAT TM Top 25 candidates with a minimum score of 550 and above 4. NMAT by GMAC TM Top 100 candidates with a minimum score of 225 and above. Candidates will be able to check the updates cutoff score on release of the IBSAT score. The IBSAT 2023 results are expected to be announced in last week of December 2023.
