The highest MBA CET cut offs are usually in the range of 99.99 to 99.95 percentiles. The highest MAH MBA CET 2024 cut off was 99.99 percentile for JBIMS. Second highest MAH CET cut off was 99.97 for SIMSREE.
The MBA CET cut offs have been released by the Maharashtra State CET category wise for admission to over 300 Maharashtra colleges that accept the exam score. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra uploads round wise and category wise MAH MBA CET cut offs on its official website during the CAP process. The MAH CET MBA 2024 cut offs were released during the CAP 2024 which was held from July 12 to September 12, 2024. MAH CET cut offs include only the overall cut offs on the basis of which seats are allotted to candidates during the counselling process. Candidates do not have to meet any sectional cut off to be eligible for admission into a particular MBA college. MAH CET cut offs 2024 were declared for three rounds. Cut off percentiles of students belonging to different categories were different. The category specific cut offs were released by the State CET separately. Candidates belonging to reserved category must check and choose their college accordingly.
Q: Â What was the MAH MBA CET CAP 2024 schedule?
MAH MBA CET 2024 CAP or the counseling process began on July 12, 2024. The complete schedule of MAH CET CAP 2024 was announced by the Maharashtra State CET at its website on the same date. The process will go on till September 12, 2024 which will include registration form filling, round-wise seat allotment, uploading of documents, cut-off release, and admission confirmation. The MAH CET CAP is usually held a month after the exam result has been declared but for the last three years, it was delayed. In fact, the entire MAH CET session was delayed in the last three years as a result of which the counseling process was conducted as late as November and December. In 2023, the process was held in July and got over by the end of August.
Factors Determining MAH MBA CET Cut Offs
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducts admission to MBA/MMS programmes offered by state universities and affiliated institutes on the basis of MAH CET exam score. For selection of candidates, a minimum cut off is determined for all participating colleges. These MAH MBA CET cut offs are determined on the basis of the following factors:

MAH CET score normalization process is undertaken to ensure that all candidates are judged on the same plane. This is done because MAH MBA CET is a multi-session exam and it may be possible that one session can be slighter easier or tougher than another.
MAH CET score normalization ensures that no candidate has an advantage or disadvantage over another due to differences in difficulty level of their exam session. So, before the preparation of the MBA CET result and merit list, the Maharashtra CET normalizes the exam scores. Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all candidates who appear for MAH CET. Basically, the marks obtained by every candidate are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session.

What is MAH CET Centralised Admission Process (CAP)?
After the MAH MBA CET result 2025 announcement, the State CET will start seat allotment through CAP process. Candidates will be required to fill up the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) form on the basis of their MAH CET score and percentile for seat allotment. After allt he CAP forms have been examined, the Maharashtra State CET Cell will release MBA CET CAP Round 2025 provisional merit list, round wise merit list and MBA CET cut offs 2025.Â

The counselling or MAH MBA CET CAP round is an online process and is conducted through the State Common Entrance Test Cell

Qualifying candidates are required to participate in the CAP by filling up an online application form. This process takes place in June-July
