The admission process and cut-off scores vary from college to college and depend on several factors such as the number of seats available, the number of applicants, and the category you belong to. Therefore, it is important to research colleges that offer the course you are interested in and check their cut-off scores for the previous years. - Poor communication skills: The GD/PI round is a test of a candidates communication skills. Candidates need to be able to communicate effective in both written and verbal form. They should be able to express their ideas clearly and concisely, and they should be able to think on their feet and respond to questions intelligent.

How is MAH MBA CET Score Calculated?
In MBA CET, 1 mark is awarded to each correct answer and 0 mark is allotted to each wrong/blank answer. There is no negative marking. The overall score is calculated by adding the marks obtained by a candidate in all the four sections of the MAH CET question paper.
Given below are important aspects of MAH MBA CET score calculation:
- Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate is considered for calculating the total raw score referred to as Corrected Score.
- Since, MAH CET MBA is conducted on two or three days and the difficulty level of the question paper of Day 1 may vary from the question paper of Day 2/Day 3, the Corrected Scores obtained by all the candidates (appearing on Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3) are normalised to ensure their performance is equated fairly.
- The score allotted to candidates after normalization is called Equated Scores. The formula applied for MAH MBA CET percentile calculation is same as other MBA entrance exams.
- Slot-wise test scores and overall scores of MAH MBA CET are reported with decimal points up to two digits.Â
- Candidates getting same score/percentile will be ranked same.
- The scores displayed on the MAH MBA CET result/scorecard are not the raw scores but the equated scores.

Q: Â What is MAH CET score normalization process?
MAH CET score normalization process is undertaken to ensure that all candidates are judged on the same plane. This is done because MAH MBA CET is a multi-session exam and it may be possible that one session can be slighter easier or tougher than another.
MAH CET score normalization ensures that no candidate has an advantage or disadvantage over another due to differences in difficulty level of their exam session. So, before the preparation of the MBA CET result and merit list, the Maharashtra CET normalizes the exam scores. Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all candidates who appear for MAH CET. Basically, the marks obtained by every candidate are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session.
Q: Â What is the marking scheme of MAH CET MBA?
The marking scheme of MAH MBA CET is very straightforward. The total marks is 200 hundred for 200 questions. Which means, every question carries one mark. There is no negative marking. In case of incorrect attempt, candidates will be marked zero. If they skip a question, even then they will be marked zero. Total marks of a candidate will be calculated out 200 on the basis of their total number of correct attempt.
Section wise the marks allotment is as follows:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: 50 marks
- Logical Reasoning: 75 marks
- Abstract Reasoning: 25 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 marks
The MAH CET percentile is calculated out of normalized scores of every test take across all the sessions of the exam. The percentile is calculated on the basis of top scoring candidate’s marks against all other candidates.
Q: Â What is the difference between MAH CET marks and MAH CET percentile?
MAH CET score is the total marks awarded to the candidate out of 200. It is calculated on the basis of every correct attempt across all sections of the exam. MAH CET percentile is calculated from the rank of the candidate as compared to rest of the candidates.

The the highest Raw Score in each session (of a candidate) will be 100 percentile indicating that 100 per cent of candidates scored equal to or lesser than the highest scorer for that session. The highest Raw Score is normalized to achieve the MAH CET percentile in the following way:
MBA CET Session | Total Candidates Appeared | the highest Raw Score | Candidates Scored EQUALorLESS THAN the highest Raw Score | MAH MBA CET Percentile Score |

Q: Â What is the MBA CET CAP eligibility criteria?
In the MAH CET CAP, there are three categories in which the seat allotment is done: 1. Maharashtra State Candidature, 2. All India Candidature/Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate and 3. NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries. Given below are the category wise MAH CET CAP eligibility criteria. Maharashtra State Candidature: The candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed -year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognised university (at least 45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only). The candidate must have obtained more than zero score in MAH CET exam. All India Candidature/Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate: The candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed 3-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognised university. Any other criterion declared from time to time by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra as defined under the ACT.
Q: Â In which section of MAH MBA CET can I score maximum?
It is tough to say that as there is no set pattern of sectional weightage in MAH CET anymore. Since the last two years, the number of questions for each section of the exam, varies for every slot. Meaning that, if in one slot there are 75 questions on LR and 25 AR, in the second slot there can be 60 questions on LR and 40 questions on AR. Similarly, there could be 50 questions on QA in one slot but in the next slot it could be 40. The total number of questions remain 200 in all the slots but the sectional weightage changes. So, one can really not prepare for the exam with the target of scoring maximum in a particular section. They need to prepare for all sections as any section can have maximum questions and the potential to score maximum.
