OJEE exam date 2025 will be announced by the OJEE Cell and NTA. The OJEE 2025 exam will likely be conducted in the second week of May 2025. The OJEE application form 2025 will be released in the last week of January 2025, tentatively. OJEE exam is held every year in Computer-based mode (CBT).

OJEE dates (previous session): The OJEE 2025 exam date was May 6, 2025, to May 10, 2025. The OJEE application forms 2025 were released on January 25, 2025. The OJEE admit card was released on April 27, 2025. OJEE result 2025 was announced on June 3, 2025. Special OJEE registration 2025 was extended to June 13, 2025. Read below to know the complete OJEE exam dates 2025.

Q:   Will the OJEE exam be conducted in the paper-based mode this year?

A:

No, OJEE exam will only be conducted in computer-based test mode. Earlier, OJEE was held in two modes computer-based test mode or online and paper-based test mode or offline, but 2019 onwards OJEE exam is being held in online mode only. There is also no provision of offline fee payment either. Candidates must note that OJEE registration is also an online process. The students need to visit the OJEE exam centre in order to take the OJEE exam. Candidates will be required to mark the correct answer by choosing the radio bullet against the right option given on the screen. Candidates will be given four options for each question and they will be required to choose the right one on the screen.

Q:   How many times can I apply for OJEE in a year?

A:
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination OJEE is conducted once a year, usually in the month of May. The exam is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the state of Odisha. As per the official notification of OJEE a candidate can only appear for the exam once in a year. There is no provision for multiple attempts in the same year. Therefore, if you want to appear for OJEE you can do so only once in a year. Q:   What is the OJEE exam duration? Can I change my exam slot?

A:
The OJEE exam is a computer-based test for all courses. However, the OJEE exam pattern differs according to the programme you are applying for. The course-wise OJEE exam duration is as follows: 1. For MBA, LE B.Tech, LE B.Sc/ LE, MCA/LE MCA M.Tech and MArch courses is 120 minutes (2 hours). 2. For the B.Pharma course is three hours or 180 minutes. 3. For the M.Pharma Integrated MBA and LE B.Pharma courses, the exam duration is one hour or 60 minutes. This means, candidates will have approximately one minute per question to solve it. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment sectional time limit will get over, the screen will automatically move to the next section. The OJEE exam is conducted in three slots for most courses. The OJEE exam slot will be mentioned on their admit cards and there is no provision of changing the exam slot. Candidates must reach the OJEE exam centre at least and hour before their slot timings.

OJEE Cell will conduct the OJEE exam 2025 in the second week of May 2025, tentatively. The application process for OJEE 2025 will begin in January 2025 (tentative) and will be open for approximately a month. The OJEE exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode across various exam centres. 

The Special Entrance Exam 2025 or second OJEE will be conducted for vacant seats of BTech, MBA, MCA, as well as Lateral Entry BTech and MCA. Candidates appearing for OJEE 2025 can check the dates and events for the state-level joint entrance exam including application, admit card, result and counselling. Moreover, if there is any change or announcement regarding OJEE, the same will be updated here for the convenience of the test takers. 

Q:   What is the syllabus of the OJEE Exam?

A:
The syllabus of the OJEE mentions topics based on the subjects for which you are applying. For instance, the OJEE MBA syllabus differs from the OJEE B.Pharma syllabus. The general syllabus of OJEE is as follows: 1. Quantitative Techniques: It includes topics like geometry, average, percentage, quadratic equations, and Trigonometry. 2. Reasoning: This includes topics like codes, data interpretation, series, blood relations, statements, and conclusions. 3. Verbal ability: It includes topics like Passages, Sentence Completion, Grammar, Word puzzles, Action, cause and effect 4. General Awareness: Questions on Current Affairs sports, international events, awards, and related events are asked in this section. Q:   What is the exam pattern for OJEE?

The OJEE exam is a computer-based test for all courses. However, the OJEE exam pattern differs according to the course you are applying for. The generic OJEE exam pattern is as follows: 1. The exam will only be conducted in the computer-based test mode. Earlier, the exam was also conducted in the paper-based test mode but from 2019 onwards, the PBT mode has been scrapped. 2. The duration of the exam for the MBA, LE B.Tech, LE B.Sc/ LE, MCA/LE MCA M.Tech and MArch courses is 120 minutes (2 hours). The duration for the B.Pharma course is three hours and for MPHARM Integrated MBA and LE B.Pharma courses, the exam duration is one hour or 60 minutes. 3. There will only be multiple-choice questions in the OJEE question paper 4. Four marks will be awarded for the correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for questions which have not been attempted. Here is a detailed OJEE MBA exam pattern: 1. The total marks for the exam are 480. 2. Total number of questions is 120. 3. There are four sections, I. e. Quantitative Techniques, Verbal reasoning and Comprehension, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, General Awareness and Business Fundamentals 4. Each section carries 30 questions.

OJEE 2025: Important Events

  • OJEE 2025 registration dates: OJEE registration is an online process. The OJEE application form is released and made available online. 
  • OJEE application fee payment: The candidates will be able to pay the OJEE application fee online using their credit card, debit card or Internet banking. They can also use UPI or other banking wallets to pay the application fee. 
  • OJEE 2025 form correction: Candidates who successfully fill out the application form and pay the application fee will have the option of making corrections in the OJEE application form if in case there is an error. The form correction window will be opened for a few days after the last date of application. 
  • OJEE admit card release: OJEE admit cards will be issued to candidates who completed the OJEE application process. The admit cards will be available online and can be downloaded till the exam day. 
  • OJEE 2025 exam date: OJEE exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode. The exam will tentatively be conducted in the second week of May 2025, in three/four shifts for different courses. 
  • OJEE result date: The OJEE result date 2025 will be released online. The result cum scorecard will be available online and the test takers can check their OJEE exam result using their login credentials.

Q:   What is the eligibility for OJEE MBA exam? Is there an age limit to appear for OJEE?

A:

Any graduate candidate with a 50 percent aggregate can apply for OJEE. The applicant must also be a citizen of India. There is no age bar for the candidates appearing for the exam. However, candidates appearing for BTech Marine Engineering exam must not be more than 22 years of age. Candidates in the final year of graduation or awaiting their result can also apply provisionally. They will be required to present their marksheets at the time of admissions.

Q:   When should I start preparing for OJEE?

A:

Aspirants should start preparing for the OJEE exam at least six months before the test date.  This duration will be enough to complete the OJEE syllabus thoroughly and practice ample number of mock tests. The OJEE exam is similar to other MBA entrance exams so if a candidate has appeared for any other MBA exam before OJEE, they need to only do exam based preparation and focus on exam-specific mock tests. Q:   Who is eligible for the OJEE exam?

A:

OJEE eligibility criteria are the requirements for appearing for the OJEE exam. OJEE scores are accepted in over 40 top B-schools in the country. The OJEE eligibility criteria are prescribed by the OJEE Cell, which is the OJEE exam conducting authority. The minimum requirement or eligibility criteria for appearing for OJEE is graduation. The basic OJEE eligibility criteria include:

  • Age Limit: There is no age bar for the candidates appearing for postgraduate courses, however, candidates appearing for BAMS/BHMS or Pharma must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31
  • Nationality: Candidates appearing for OJEE must be a citizen of India. If they wish to take admissions to government colleges in Odisha then the candidates must be a native of Odisha. 
  • Minimum Educational Qualification: For undergraduate courses, the candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board. As for postgraduate courses, the candidate must hold aDiplomaorBachelorsdegree from a recognized university or institute from a relevant stream.
