UPCET 2021 cutoff will be released by AKTU in the third week of September. The cutoff will be available for different courses and colleges. UPCET cutoff (opening and closing rank) is released mainly for BTech aspirants along with MBA and MCA aspirants as the number of candidates who apply for these courses is usually more than the number of seats available. The cutoff list consists of opening and closing ranks (OR & CR) of candidates belonging to different categories. After going through the cutoff for UPCET 2021 candidates can determine the college in which they can apply for admission. All candidates who meet the cutoff get eligible to participate in UPCET counselling.

UPCET Cutoff – Determining Factor
Various factors are taken into consideration to determine the UPCET cutoff. Some such factors include:
- The number of candidates who appeared for the exam
- The difficulty level of UPCET exam
- Number of candidates who cleared the exam
- Overall performance of candidates in the exam
- Number of participating institutes
- Number of seats available
- Previous years’ UPCET cutoff trends

UPCET 2021 Qualifying Marks
The category wise qualifying cutoff of UPCET 2021 will be released by the authorities for the counselling procedure. Only those candidates who will secure the minimum marks will be able to participate in the counselling of UPCET 2021. The cutoff percentage of marks for each category is given below:
