NEET PG 2024 counselling registration can be done on the official website, mcc.nic.in. It must be noted Medical Counselling Committeee will hold counselling for allotment of 50% All India quota seats. For rest 50% seats, respective state authorities will hold counselling. NEET PG 2024 counselling comprises registration, choice filling, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting. A total of 4 rounds of online counselling will be held for seat allocation into MD/MS and diploma courses.

Q:   Who will be eligible for NEET PG 2024 counselling rounds?

A:

Candidates who qualify NEET PG exam with minimum cutoff marks as decided by NBE will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The qualifying cut off varies as per the category. To participate in NEET PG 2024 counselling, candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. Nic. In. They also have to fill choice for college and course and lock them in the given deadline. Seat allotment is done based on different factors such as choice declared, availability of seats in particular college and course, NEET PG rank etc.

The counselling of NEET PG is an online process. Thus, candidates need not to go anywhere for the counselling process. However, candidates do need to report to the institute allocated to them for confirmation of their admission. NEET PG 2024 qualified candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. nic. in to participate in the counselling process. They also have to declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. After seat allotment, candidates will have to report to particular institute for document verification. NEET PG 2024 counselling dates have been released. Round-1 registration began on September 20, 2024 and deadline for registration was November 17, 2024.

Steps for NEET PG counselling registration

  • Go to the official website on MCC-mcc.nic.in

  • Click on ‘PG Medical Counselling’

  • Register using a valid email ID and mobile number

  • Note down the login credentials

  • Login again to fill the application form

  • Enter personal/academic details

  • Check the form before final submission

NEET PG Counselling Fee

Candidates have to pay the NEET PG counselling fee to complete the registration process for seat allotment. The counselling fee comprises both refundable and non refundable fees. The fee has to be paid in online mode.

NEET PG Counselling: Documents Required

After NEET PG seat allotment result, candidates are expected to show original documents during reporting. They have to carry all their certificates in original along with a self-attested copy at allotted institutes. Candidates also have to pay fee to secure seats. Q:   Do I need to lock choices for NEET PG counselling?

A:

Yes. Choices for NEET PG counselling have to be locked in the given deadline. If a candidate doesn't lock the choice of college and course, it gets automatically locked after the deadline. Based on declared choices, availablity of seats, reservation factor, seats will be allotted. MCC will release NEET PG 2024 counselling dates and schedule soon on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

Q:   If I opt to participate in the second round of NEET PG counselling, will the seat allocated to me in the first round be cancelled?

A:

If you are allotted a seat in the second round of NEET PG counselling, then only the seat allocated to you in the first round will be cancelled. However, if you are not allocated a seat in the second round, you will retain the earlier allocated seat. MCC conducts 4 rounds of counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register on the official website to participate in the counselling process. Registration can be done in all rounds except the last one. 

Q:   I have registered for round 1 of NEET PG 2024 counselling. Should I register again for round 2/mop up round?

A:

No, online registration for NEET PG counselling is a one-time process. Those who have already registered once don't need to register again. Only those candidates who have not registered themselves during round 1 need to register for the round 2/mop-up round. Registration can be done in any round except last one on the official website. Mcc. Nic. In. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for allotment of 50% All India Quota seats.

Q:   When will registration begin for round 2 NEET PG 2024 counselling?

A:

Registration for round-2 NEET PG 2024 counselling will begin on December 4, 2024. Dates and schedule for NEET PG 2024 counselling has been released by MCC. December 9 is the deadline for round-2 registration. Registration is mandatory to participate in the counselling. After registration, candidates will have to declare choice for college and course and lock the choices. MCC will allot seats based on choice declared, reservation factor, availablity of seats and other factors. 

Q:   I didn't score the minimum cut off for NEET PG. Will I eligible for NEET PG counselling?

A:

No. Candidates need the minimum cut off to qualify for NEET PG. It must be noted only those who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off score will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment.
