MCC conducts NEET PG counselling for allotment of 50% AIQ seats. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choice for college and course to participate in the counselling. NEET PG counselling registration is done on mcc.nic.in. Registration for NEET PG 2024 counselling began on September 20.

NEET PG Counselling registration 2024 is held online for seat allotment. Candidates who qualify NEET PG exam with the minimum cut off are eligible for the counselling. Registration for round-1 counselling started on September 20, 2024. The last date for round-1 registration and choice filling was November 17, 2024. Round-1 result was announced on November 20, 2024.

NEET PG 2024 counselling registration can be done on the official website, mcc.nic.in. It must be noted Medical Counselling Committeee will hold counselling for allotment of 50% All India quota seats. For rest 50% seats, respective state authorities will hold counselling. NEET PG 2024 counselling comprises registration, choice filling, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting. A total of 4 rounds of online counselling will be held for seat allocation into MD/MS and diploma courses.

Q:   Who will be eligible for NEET PG 2024 counselling rounds?

A:

Candidates who qualify NEET PG exam with minimum cutoff marks as decided by NBE will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The qualifying cut off varies as per the category. To participate in NEET PG 2024 counselling, candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. Nic. In. They also have to fill choice for college and course and lock them in the given deadline. Seat allotment is done based on different factors such as choice declared, availability of seats in particular college and course, NEET PG rank etc.

Q:   I have registered for round 1 of NEET PG 2024 counselling. Should I register again for round 2/mop up round?

A:

No, online registration for NEET PG counselling is a one-time process. Those who have already registered once don't need to register again. Only those candidates who have not registered themselves during round 1 need to register for the round 2/mop-up round. Registration can be done in any round except last one on the official website. Mcc. Nic. In. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for allotment of 50% All India Quota seats.

Q:   When will registration begin for round 3 NEET PG 2024 counselling?

A:

Registration for round-3 NEET PG 2024 counselling began on December 26, 2024. January 22 is the deadline for round-3 registration as per the revised schedule. Choices have to be filled till January 23, 2025, 8 am. Seat allotment result will be announced on January 25, 2025. Registration is mandatory to participate in the counselling. After registration, candidates will have to declare choice for college and course and lock the choices. MCC allots seats based on choice declared, reservation factor, availablity of seats and other factors.

Steps for NEET PG counselling registration

  • Go to the official website on MCC-mcc.nic.in

  • Click on ‘PG Medical Counselling’

  • Register using a valid email ID and mobile number

  • Note down the login credentials

  • Login again to fill the application form

  • Enter personal/academic details

  • Check the form before final submission

NEET PG Counselling Fee

Candidates have to pay the NEET PG counselling fee to complete the registration process for seat allotment. The counselling fee comprises both refundable and non refundable fees. The fee has to be paid in online mode.

NEET PG Counselling: Documents Required

After NEET PG seat allotment result, candidates are expected to show original documents during reporting. They have to carry all their certificates in original along with a self-attested copy at allotted institutes. Candidates also have to pay fee to secure seats. Q:   How many rounds of counselling will be held for NEET PG 2024 counselling?

A:

A total of 4 rounds of NEET PG 2024 counselling will be held for 50% All India Quota seats by MCC. Candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. nic.in to participate in the counselling rounds for NEET PG 2024. Registration will be followed by choice declaration for the counselling. Seats will be allotted based on NEET PG rank, choice declared by candidates, availability of seats in particular college and course, reservation factor etc. Candidates must note, respective state authorities will conduct the counselling for rest 50% seats.

Q:   When will NEET PG 2024 round-3 counselling results be declared?

A:

Round-3 NEET PG 2024 counselling result will be announced on January 25, 2025. Earlier the result was to be declared on January 4, 2025 but it was delayed due to reduction of cut off. The revised cut off percentile for general category is 15 percentiles, while for SC/ST, it is 10. The counselling result will be uploaded online in PDF format. Candidates allotted seats in round-3 will have to report for document verification till January 29, 2025. They will have to pay the admission fee and complete other formalities.

Q:   I didn't score the minimum cut off for NEET PG. Will I eligible for NEET PG counselling?

A:

No. Candidates need the minimum cut off to qualify for NEET PG. It must be noted only those who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off score will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. 

Q:   Do I need to lock choices for NEET PG counselling?

A:

Yes. Choices for NEET PG counselling have to be locked in the given deadline. If a candidate doesn't lock the choice of college and course, it gets automatically locked after the deadline. Based on declared choices, availablity of seats, reservation factor, seats will be allotted. Round-3 registration was started on December 26, 2024.

Q:   Who will conduct NEET PG 2024 counselling for 50% All India Quota Seats?

A:

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting NEET PG 2024 counselling for 50% All India Quota Seats. Respective state authorities conduct conselling for rest 50% seats. Candidates will have to register online to participate in NEET PG 2024 counselling. Registration can be done on the official website, mcc. Nic. In. Apart from registration, NEET PG counselling comprises steps such as choice filling, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting. Choices have to be saved and locked in the deadline other they get locked automatically.
