Q:   How difficult is the NEET PG?

NEET PG is a higher-level exam with a high level of competition. The NEET PG exam syllabus is extensive and covers all 19 subjects that a medico studies during the MBBS. The student's preparation time is also limited, and they must balance coursework and an internship.

This leaves little to no time to prepare for the NEET PG. A student works an internship at a hospital before the NEET PG exam, and the shifts are unpredictable. A lack of preparation time combined with intense competition makes NEET PG a difficult nut to crack. At the same time, it is not impossible task to score well in the exam. How To Prepare with NEET PG Best Books?

NEET PG books should be used strategically so that every topics of every subject is covered at length. Some of the strategies have been enlisted below to use these books to score well in the exam:

Prepare subjectwise notes: Candidates are advised to take up one subject at a time and complete it thoroughly. Study and make notes of each topic. These notes prove very handy at the time of revision.

Aim to build concept: As NEET PG is one of the toughest exams, concept is the key. The objective should be to build concept and not to mug stuff. Shallow reading will not work. Candidates should have deep understanding of the subject so that they can answer any questions in the exam.

Revision is key: After finishing each subject, candidates should focus on revision. Keep the fact in mind that 3-4 times revision of each subject is must before the exam. There should be strategy in place for proper revision covering every subject.

Practice MCQ questions: Once candidate gain confidence of having clarity of concepts, they should go for practicing multiple choice questions. Candidates should solve sample papers and previous year’s question paper to understand NEET PG exam pattern. This helps candidates to take stock of the situation for exam preparation. Q:   Will marks be deducted for unanswered questions in NEET PG?

A:

No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions as per the existing NEET PG pattern. Such questions will not be taken into consideration while calculating marks of a candidate. Candidates are advised to attempt only those questions where they are confident of right answer. If there is iota of doubt of correct answer, candidates are advised to leave that question. Otherwise, negative marking may reduce your total score which will ultimately impact your overall performance.

Q:   How many hours should I study per day to crack NEET PG?

Candidates expect to devote many hours to crack any competitive exams. This rule applies in NEET exam also. Candidates have to devote serious 5-7 hours daily to prepare the exam throughly. There is no such reports stating that NEET PG 2025 pattern will be changed. NEET PG 2025 pattern will be released along with the official information brochure. Most probably there won't be any change for NEET PG 2025 pattern. Candidates are advised to prepare for the exam keeping the existing pattern in the mind. NEET PG exam is conducted in computer-based mode currently. The question paper will comprise 200 multiple choice questions and candidates will get 3.5 hours to attempt them.
