The CG NEET counselling special stray vacancy round for the BDS programme started. The registration for Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2024 counselling special stray vacancy round started on November 23, 2024. The last registration date for the special stray round was November 25, 2024. After registration, the CG NEET counselling special stray vacancy round merit list 2024 was released on November 26, 2024, on the official website at cgdme.in. The CGDME declared the CG NEET counselling seat allotment result on November 27, 2024. After this, the students must report to the institute between November 28 and December 2, 2024.

The Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling dates for the stray vacancy round were released on the official website. The CG NEET counselling choice filling/locking could be done from October 24 to 25, 2024. The seat allotment result was released on October 26, 2024. After this, the deadline for the admission process was between October 27 to 29, 2024. 

Earlier, Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 round 2 provisional allotment list was released online on the official website. The CG NEET provisional list comprises the candidate's roll number, allotted institutes, choice number, allotted category, allotted quota, NEET overall score, NEET score, and CG state rank. The (scrutiny) reporting at the institute can be done between September 28 to October 3, 2024.

Chhattisgarh NEET counselling Merit List PDF

Earlier authorities released Chhattisgarh NEET counselling dates 2024, for four rounds. Further rounds will be conducted in case of vacant seats. The Chhattisgarh NEET counselling 2024 round 1 seat allotment results were declared on August 30, 2024. Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling is an online process conducted in four rounds. Applicants who secure the Chhattisgarh NEET cutoff marks must be eligible for further counselling.  

A third (mop-up) round of Chhattisgarh NEET counselling will also be conducted if any seats are left vacant after the conclusion of the second round. Unlike the previous two rounds, a mop-up counselling round will be conducted offline. 

Q:   What mode will be followed this year for Chhattisgarh NEET counselling?

A:

DME Raipur will conduct the Chhattisgarh NEET online. No candidate has to report in person for verification of documents. Candidates who will be allotted seats can opt for willingness to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 for which they will have to physically report at the allotted college and get their documents verified by the scrutiny committee of Allotted Institute.

Chhattisgarh NEET counselling 2024 will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur.  It is the sole body responsible for releasing the Chhattisgarh State merit list for counselling of MBBS and BDS admission. Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 will have to register on the official website of DME, Raipur, cgdme.admissions.nic.in

Chhattisgarh NEET counselling 2024 process includes registration, choice filling, the release of the seat allotment list, document verification, and reporting to the allotted institute. All the steps have their peculiarities, and below is the description of each step:

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling Registration

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 need to register on the official website of the DME. The steps for online registration are given below:

Step 1: Go to the official website of Chhattisgarh counselling - cgdme.admissions.nic.in

Step 2: Students are advised to register using a valid email ID and mobile number.

Step 3: Fill the details in the application form carefully.

Step 4: Set a password and choose a security question.

Step 5: Check the Chhattisgarh counselling application form thoroughly before submitting it

Step 6: Pay the registration fee as directed by the DME Raipur. 

Step 7: Login ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling Choice Filling

After the registration process is complete, a candidate must submit the choices (course/ college) for the Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling. They have to log in to the registered account on the official website and provide the choices.

Candidates must note that the option to fill in the choices will be given only once. Thus, they are advised to fill in as many choices as possible. Also, they must keep in mind that choices once submitted cannot be changed.

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling Seat Allotment List

The competent authority will allocate the seats based on the candidate’s merit in NEET 2024 and their choices. The seats left vacant after the first round of Chhattisgarh NEET counselling 2024 will be carried forward to the second round.

An offline mop-up round of Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling will be conducted to fill vacant seats after the second round.

Chhattisgarh has 6 government medical colleges and 2 private medical college. Yes, Chhattisgarh is an open state which allows admission in 15% seats in private medical college to non-domicile students for MBBS and BDS programmes. Therefore, Candidates are advised to confirm their eligibility/domicile status before registering on CGDME website for All seats of Govt Medical Colleges and State Govt Quota seats of Private Medical and Private Dental Colleges before opting for their seats.

Q:   What is the application fee for Chhattisgarh NEET counselling?

A:

The Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 application for the General/Unreserved and Other Backward Class (OBC) category will tentatively be INR 1,000 and INR 500 for SC and ST and NRI candidates will have to pay INR 10000/-. The application fee is non-refundable. Main counseling Registration will include payment of NonRefundable application fee and Refundable Security Deposit (to be refunded only in the account from which payment has been made and only if candidate is found eligible for refund of security deposit).

Once failed in the scrutiny of the documents, candidate will be ineligible for any further round of counseling.

There will be no Fresh Registration of Candidates in Final Stray Vacancy Round. State Stray Vacancy Round for State contributed seats will be conducted by CGDME in compliance to Hon’ble Supreme Court judgement.

Q:   I have not appeared for given NEET entrance exam. Can I register for Chhattisgarh NEET counselling?

No. Only NEET qualifiers can apply for 85 per cent of state quota seats offered through the Chhattisgarh NEET 2024 counselling process. As per the guidelines issued by DME Raipur, candidates are advised to confirm their eligibility/domicile status before registering on CGDME website for All seats of Govt Medical Colleges and State Govt Quota seats of Private Medical and Private Dental Colleges before opting for their seats.

Q:   Who can participate in Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling Mop-up round?

A:

All registered candidates who have not been allotted any seat after the end of Round 2 and thus not admitted in any institute can participate in Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling Mop-up round. Only those candidates who have been admitted in Govt Dental or Private Dental Colleges for getting admission in Medical Colleges are eligible. Candidates will have to fill-up fresh choices to participate in it.
