HP NEET PG 2024 counselling for MD/MS/DNB is being conducted by Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh (AMRU, HP). The HP NEET PG round 1 seat allotment result was released by the counselling conducting body on November 27, 2024. Candidates can download the HP NEET PG provisional allotment letter through the login details provided at the time of counselling registration. It is important to approach the allotted college/institute within the stipulated timeline to accept the seat being allotted for admission. The last date to accept the seat and fee payment for Round-1 was November 30, 2024.

The HP NEET PG application process started with the release of notification on September 23, 2024, by the official counselling body,  which is the sole competent body to organise and conduct the state’s NEET PG counselling. The final step in the entire admission process is to deposit the academic fee to confirm the admission. Candidates are required to pay this fee online. They can use a credit card/debit card/net banking to pay the fee. For the General category, the application fee is INR 3300/- and for other reserved categories, it is INR 2200/-.

HP NEET PG 202 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the PG courses carefully read the eligibility criteria for both MD/MS and MDS. After reading all details register by filling out the HP NEET PG admission form. The criteria for eligibility has been provided below: 

  1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

  2. Candidates who have completed MBBS from a recognised board or deemed university.

  3. A candidate who has completed MBBS from any Institution recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and his/her parents hold a resident certificate of It is mandatory to complete a Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship on or before the date mentioned by MCC for the current academic year.

  4. Candidate should be registered with the State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.

HP NEET PG Medical Counselling 2024: Admission Process

Candidates need to visit the official website of HP PG Medical Admission. The DMER has published the notification online for HP PG Medical admission 2024. It is for the Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) PG Diploma & Degree for the academic year 2024. A candidate must be PG qualified to seek admission to the PG Medical / Dental admission 2024. Admission will be purely based on NEET PG 2024 Marks.

Online Registration Process

A candidate needs to fill out the online application form for HP PG Medical / Dental 2024 through the direct link provided below or can follow the steps mentioned below. Students must enter the correct and verifiable information in the HP PG Medical / Dental 2024 Application form. These details include name, gender, domicile, category, and contact information.

After that deposit the form fee as per the number of course(s) applied for, the candidate needs to cross-check the fee against the category they belong to. In case of any error in the application, the correction will be provided and the same shall be notified. Students must deposit the application correction fee for introducing changes in the online admission form.

HP NEET PG 2024 Choice Filling and Choice Locking

During the choice filling and locking window, candidates need to fill in online choices at the official website, amruhp.ac.in by using their registration number and transaction ID generated at the time of registration. Candidates have to fill in their choices of colleges as per their priority. They are allowed to fill choices as many as they like.

For the Round-1 counselling, candidates will be required to exercise the web options once dates will be out. Post this, the provisional and final merit lists will be released. In the HP NEET PG Round-2 counselling, the choice filling and option locking window will be available. The schedule for the third round of exercising the web option and the stray vacancy round has also been published.
