Jharkhand NEET PG Chronology of Events

Jharkhand NEET PG counselling 2024 is ongoing. Jharkhand NEET PG counselling Round 1 and Round 2 have successfully concluded. The official counselling conducting body, JCECEB, concluded Round-1 with the institute reporting and document verification process on December 04, 2024. JCECEB issued the provisional seat allotment letters on November 28, 2024. Jharkhand NEET PG Round-1 option entry and choice filling window closed on November 25, 2024. The registration began on November 19, 2024 with the release of the state merit list. JCECE NEET PG counselling registration window ended on November 20, 2024. The JCECE NEET PG Round-2 counselling concluded on December 28, 2024. The Round-2 seat allotment result was declared on December 23, 2024. Students willing to edit their filled-up choices were allowed to exercise until December 20, 2024. The JCECE NEET PG Round-2 final state merit list was released on December 16, 2024. 

Candidates need to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria to get admission through Jharkhand NEET PG 2024 counselling:

• Candidate must be a resident of Jharkhand

• There is no upper age limit for admission

• Candidate must possess an MBBS/BDS (as the case may be) degree from the University of Jharkhand recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India

• NMC/DCI/SMC/SDC registration is mandatory for NEET-PG/ MDS 2024 qualifying candidates

• One-year internship in a duly recognised institution must be completed on or before the prescribed date 

• Candidates should have qualified NEET PG/NEET MDS with the minimum cut-off marks

Jharkhand NEET PG 2024 Counselling Registration

The first step is to apply on the official website and submit the application form for seat allotment. In this step, candidates have to pay the registration fee as stipulated in the official notification of JCECEB. It is mandatory to submit the application form to enroll for the NEET PG admission.

• Visit the official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in

• Under section NEET PG/MDS, select ‘Click here to Apply'

• Enter details such as name, contact number, email ID, date of birth etc.

• A login credential is generated and sent to the registered email ID and mobile number

• Login with your registration credential and enter the personal and academic details

• Upload documents according to the given format

Jharkhand NEET PG Merit List 2024

JCECEB releases a merit list for candidates who register to participate in the counselling for Round-1, Round-2, or the Mop-up round. Candidates can check and download the Jharkhand NEET PG Merit List from the official website after each round. JCECE merit list is released in two steps. Initially, a provisional merit list is released and later a final merit list is released for the candidates.

Jharkhand NEET PG Choice Filling

It is a mandatory step within which candidates included in the state merit list have to fill in choices for college and courses in which they want to take admission. Candidates have to declare their preferences for college and courses online. In the next step, candidates are mandated to lock in the choices within the stipulated deadline. The preference of choices can’t be modified once they are locked.

Jharkhand NEET PG Seat Allotment Process

The counselling authority allots seats based on the choices filled by candidates, NEET PG rank, availability of seats, reservation criteria, etc. A separate result is released for each round of counselling. Generally, a total of 3 rounds of counselling are held including a mop-up round for Jharkhand NEET PG admission. However, JCECEB conducted a stray vacancy round and a special stray vacancy round as the seats remained vacant after the third/mop-up round

After seat allotment, candidates will have to report to their respective allotted institutes for document verification and to complete other admission formalities.

The following list of documents is needed at the time of Jharkhand NEET PG medical admission:

• MBBS Certificate

• Mark sheet and degree of MBBS examinations

• Medical Registration Certificate

• Internship Completion Certificate

• Photo identity proof in the form of a Certificate with an attested photo from the Head of the Institution last studied/Copy of Passport/Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving License (Self-attested photocopy after verifying with the original documents)

• Copy of Birth Certificate for proof of age (if the date of birth is not given in the HSC mark sheet/ certificate)

• Copy of Online Counselling Registration Certificate

• Sponsorship Certificate from State Govt. If applicable

• Passport size Photographs 8 copies

After the registration process, the counselling body releases the Jharkhand NEET PG merit list. The merit list includes names of the candidates whose application gets accepted. The merit list for Jharkhand NEET PG counselling comprises details such as the name of the candidate, category, All India Rank in the NEET PG exam, scores, state rank, etc. Initially, a provisional merit list is released.
