Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Kerala NEET PG 2024 must satisfy the criteria set by CEE. Only those candidates who fulfil the following eligibility requirements will be able to Kerala PG medical counselling

Nationality and Domicile

• Candidate must be a citizen of India
• He/she must be domiciled in Kerala
• OCI/PIO candidates with roots in Kerala can also apply for counselling
• Candidates who are not domiciled in Kerala, but have completed their MBBS degree from an institute in Kerala can apply for the counselling. However, such candidates will not be eligible for communal/special reservations.

Academic Qualification

• The candidate must have completed MBBS from an institute recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI)
• He/she must have completed the internship or scheduled to complete it within the stipulated date as stated by MCI
• He/she must be registered with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council

Age

There is no Upper age limit for admission to PG Medical courses 2024 with the following exceptions.

i. For Medical Education service quota candidates, the upper age limit will be 49 years as of December 31, 2024.

ii. For Health service quota and Insurance Medical service quota candidates, the upper age limit will be 47 years as of December 31, 2024.

How to apply for Kerala PG Medical 2024 counselling?

Candidates who will qualify for NEET PG 2024 and are willing to participate in the counselling of Kerala NEET PG 2024 must register themselves on the official website of CEE. Candidates must note the application forms for Kerala NEET PG counselling 2024 will not be available offline, at any medical college or the office of CEE. Also, candidates do not have to send copies of the filled application form to the office of CEE.

Steps to fill the application form of Kerala NEET PG 2024 counselling

Registration:

• Go to the official website of CEE-cee.kerala.gov.in or directly enter the link https://www.cee.kerala.gov.in/pgm2024/
• Click on ‘PG Medical 2024-Online Application’
• Enter NEET PG 2024 application number and date of birth
• Enter your mobile number and create a password
• System generates a unique application number (must be noted for future use)

Filling the application form:

• Login again using the application number and password
• Fill the details in the application form
• Candidates must fill the details carefully
• Save the details regularly
• Check all the details before submitting the application
• Candidates will not be able to modify any details after choosing ‘Save and Finalise’

Pay the application fee:

• Application fee for Kerala NEET PG counselling 2024 can be paid online or offline, as per the choice of the candidate. If a candidate chooses to pay the application fee online, he/she can use a debit card/credit card/net banking to pay the fee.
• Those who want to pay the application fee offline can choose to pay the same through an e-challan. Candidate has to carry a copy of the e-challan and the application fee, in cash, to the nearest Head/Sub Post office located in Kerala.
• After paying the application fee for NEET PG 2024 counselling, candidates must login to the registered account on the official website of CEE. He/she must check whether or not the status of payment has been updated by clicking on the ‘Pay application fee’ tab.

Uploading requisite documents:

Candidates need to upload scanned copies of their original documents to complete the application process. These documents will be verified by the authorities when the candidate reports to the institute for confirmation of his/her admission.

  • For Kerala origin: Secondary School Leaving Certificate / Indian Passport /Birth certificate/Certificate obtained from village officer stating that the candidate or either of his/her parent was born in Kerala
  • Non-Kerala origin but have completed MBB from this state: Certificate issued by the respective Medical Institution
• Community or non-creamy layer certificate
• Income Certificate (if applicable)
• Inter-caste marriage certificate (if applicable)
• Certificate for claiming reservation for Persons with Disabilities (if applicable)
• Certificate for claiming Ex-Service Quota (if applicable)
• Certificate for claiming dependents of Jawans killed in action/Dependents of Ex-Serviceman (if applicable)

Printing the confirmation slip

Once the application form for Kerala PG medical counselling has been submitted, a confirmation page will be generated by the system. Candidates must print a copy of this page and keep safe for future reference.

How to Register Options for Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024

Candidates need to follow the steps given below to register options or choice filling for Kerala NEET PG counselling 2024:

• Visit the official website of Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024 – ceekerala.gov.in

• Click on the link PG Medical 2024 – Candidate Portal

• Log in by entering your Application Number, Password and Access Code and click on Login

• Click on the tab ‘Option Registration’

• Candidates can give options as per their priority of the CourseCollege combinations in the option list

CEE prepares the rank list of all the candidates who register for the counselling of Kerala NEET PG 2024. This rank list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in NEET PG 2024. The rank of a candidate in the merit list of Kerala will be used while preparing the seat allotment list. The rank list for Kerala NEET PG 2024 counselling will be displayed on the official website of CEE. One must note that only those candidates who have been included in this list will be eligible to participate in Kerala PG medical 2024 counselling.

The Centralised Admission Process (CAP)

Candidates who will be included in the state merit list can proceed to the next step-choice filling. Candidates need to choose the desired specialities/colleges as per their ranks by logging into their registered accounts. CEE will prepare the seat allotment list basis the choices filled by the candidates and their ranks as per the state merit list of Kerala NEET PG 2024 counselling.

Reporting to the allocated institute

Candidates who will be allocated a seat in CAP have to confirm whether or not they want to retain the seat allotted to them. This will be through the process of virtual admissions online. Candidates who wish to confirm their admission will have to login to their registered accounts and select '‘Payment of Fee and Virtual admission'. They can then pay the fees for the allotted institute online, as specified in the candidate portal. After completion of this process, candidates can download a 'Virtual Admission Slip'. Candidates who fail to take virtual admission into the college allotted to them will lose their seat and it will be carried forward to the next round. Candidates are not required to report to the allotted institute at this stage. They will be intimated about their joining after the second round of counselling.
