Q: What is the application fee for FMGE 2024?
The application fee for FMGE 2024 is released along with the official information brochure.
The FMGE 2024 application fee is announced soon on official notification. FMGE registration fee is INR 5,250 + 18 per cent GST.
So total amount will be INR 6,195. Candidates will have to pay the registration fee to submit the application form for FMGE 2024. It must be noted registration fee will be paid with online modes such as credit/debit card or internet banking etc. The registration fee is nonrefundable if your application is rejected due to any reason. Aspirants are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully before applying online for FMGE 2024 exam for the June session.

NBE: The authority behind DNB
NBE is responsible for awarding the “Diplomate of National Board” degree. The board conducts DNB PDGET for admission to the three-year DNB (Broad Speciality) course. NBE also conducts the theory and practical examinations for the evaluation of the candidates admitted to these courses. NBE also conducts DNB CET SS for admission to DNB Super Speciality courses after completion of MS/MD/DNB (Broad Speciality).
Q: When is DNB PDCET 2025 exam scheduled?
DNB PDCET 2025 exam will be held on February 23, 2025. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode at designated centres across country. Candidates have to register online and submit application form for the exam. It must be noted NBE doesn't accept offline application form for DNB PCET. The result will be declared for each broad specialty. It must be noted there is no qualifying cut off for DNB PDCET exam. Admissions to each specialty is on the basis of the merit list prepared for that particular specialty.
Q: Will there be negative marking in the DNB PDCET 2025 exam?
Yes. According to DNB PDCET 2025 exam pattern, there is a provision of negative marking. As per the marking scheme, candidates get 4 marks for every correct answer, while 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. Therefore, candidates are advised to answer only those questions where they feel confidence of right answer otherwise negative marking may put a toll on overall score. The exam is held in computer-based mode where a total of 120 multiple choice questions are asked. Candidates get 2 hours to answer the question paper.
NBE: Eligibility Criteria
NBE has prescribed the eligibility criteria for the examination conducted by it. The eligibility for each programme has been set in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Government of India. The NBE eligibility criteria for various examinations are given below:
Eligibility for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE)
- Candidate must be a citizen of India/ Overseas Citizen of India.
- He/she must possess a primary medical qualification and it should be confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned.
Eligibility for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test PG
- Candidate must possess a degree of MBBS awarded by a recognised university or institute in India.
- He/she must have undergone a compulsory rotatory internship of a year.
- He/ she must be registered with the State Medical Council.
Eligibility for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test MDS
- Candidate must possess a degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a recognised university or institute in India.
- He/she must have undergone a compulsory rotatory internship of a year.
- He/ she must be registered with the State Dental Council.
Eligibility for Post Diploma Common Entrance Test (PDCET)
- Candidate must possess a degree of MBBS awarded by a recognised university or institute in India.

Q: What is the total duration of the NEET SS exam?
The total duration of the NEET SS exam is 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. There is no sectional time limit. Hence, candidates have to manage the time accrodingly to attempt as many number of questions as possible within this duration. There are 150 questions in total. Hence, to attempt all the questions, test-takers will get one minute per question. Along with maintaining to speed to complete the NEET SS exam, candidates must also maintain accuracy to avoid losing marks since there is a negative marking scheme.
Q: How difficult is the NEET PG?
NEET PG is a higher-level exam with a high level of competition. The NEET PG exam syllabus is extensive and covers all 19 subjects that a medico studies during the MBBS. The student's preparation time is also limited, and they must balance coursework and an internship.
This leaves little to no time to prepare for the NEET PG. A student works an internship at a hospital before the NEET PG exam, and the shifts are unpredictable. A lack of preparation time combined with intense competition makes NEET PG a difficult nut to crack. At the same time, it is not impossible task to score well in the exam. Candidates only need proper preparation, planning, and consistent efforts. What matters is that you believe in yourself and work towards your goal.
