The GPAT 2024 registration process is over now. Applicants who filled the application form correctly were invited to appear in the exam. NBEMS also released a final edit window to upload the image as per the prescribed specifications. The authorities gave them time between May 28 to May 30, 2024.

Before this, candidates were given a window to edit/modify the changes in their GPAT 2024 application form between May 11 and 14, 2024. Earlier National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) opened the GPAT pre-final edit window between May 21 and 23, 2024. The GPAT application process for the academic year 2024-25 was started on April 19, 2024. The application process for the GPAT 2024 exam was concluded on May 8, 2024. 

The GPAT 2024 registration process could be done online by visiting the official admission portal. Students who successfully filled the application form were only issued GPAT 2024 admit card in online mode on June 3, 2024. The MPharma entrance exam dates and schedule helped candidates adhere to the GPAT application deadline, and make necessary changes to the application form during the application correction window.

Q:   What was the last date to apply for GPAT 2024?

A:

NBEMS announced the exam schedule for GPAT 2024. This year GPAT applciation form will be filled for a period of 20 days.

The last date to register for the GPAT exam is May 8, 2024.  

Please note that a candidate can submit only one application form to apply for the exam. Multiple application form entry will not be accepted.

After the registration process, application correction window will open to facilities candidates in making few changed to the GPAT 2024 application form. This facility provides applicants a chance to rectify an incorrect information entered in the application form. However, any request for change in information after the application correction facility closes will not be entertained.

Q:   Is GPAT 2024 application form out?

A:

NTA released the GPAT 2024 application form on April 19, 2024. Candidates are advised to diligently follow all the instructions of the form-filling process and match the eligibility criteria to apply for the GPAT 2024 entrance exam.

The application forms is available online and the application fee needs to be paid through online mode only.

Q:   I appeared for the GPAT exam last year. Can I again apply this year as well?

A:

Yes, there is no restrictions on the number of attempts that a candidate can give to appear for the GPAT entrance exam. However, there is a lower age limit to appear for the exam. Candidates not less than 17 years of age can only apply for the GPAT exam. The GPAT 2025 application process is generally conducted for a period of 30 days. The GPAT 2025 registration process will be organised online at the official admission portal. It is mandatory to register for the exam in order to apply for the MPharma course.

Q:   Can I make changes in the GPAT application form once it is submitted?

A:

The exam conducting body opened the application correction facility for GPAT 2024 aspirants which allows them to make amends to the GPAT application form by providing Application Number, Password and Security Pin. However, after the final submission, no further changes will be accepted. Candidates can download and install the SANDES application as a secondary channel to receive time-to-time notifications from NTA.

GPAT Registration Process 2024 - Documents Required

Enlisted below are the documents required at the time of the GPAT 2024 registration process:  

  • Qualification details
  • Scanned passport-sized photograph (size between 10 kb - 200 kb in JPG/JPEG format)
  • Scanned signature (size between 4 kb - 30 kb in JPG/JPEG format)
  • A valid Email ID
  • A valid mobile number
  • A valid debit card/ credit card/ net banking account

Q:   What documents need to be uploaded while filling out the GPAT application form?

A:

At the time of GPAT 2024 application process, a candidate need to upload his/her passport-size photograph and signature images while filling out the application form. The passport-size photograph should be in JPG format and between 10 kb to 200 kb. The passport-size signature should be in JPG format and between 4 kb to 30 kb.

As per the NBE guidelines, a legible scanned images of a recent passport size photograph (file size 10Kb to 200Kb) should be either in colour or black & white with 80 percent face, without mask visible including ears against white background; and candidate's signature file size: 4 kb to 30 kb, PwD Certificate (if applicable) file size 50 kb to 300 kb, needs to be uploaded at the time of GPAT 2024 registration.

Q:   How do I register to fill out the GPAT application form?

A:

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is the prime body that is responsible for organising and releasing the exam schedule and exam registration for the pharmacy entrance exam.

Candidates need to visit the official website to register. Thereafter, online registration and will have to be done through which a system-generated application number is generated. After filling in important details, upload scanned images such as a passport-sized photograph and a scanned copy of the signature. After completing all these steps, application fee payment is the next important and mandatory step. Choose the desired mode of payment (Net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ e-challan). At the end, a confirmation page will appear on the screen. Download the copy of that page for future reference.

How to fill GPAT Application Form 2024?

Candidates are advised to follow the step-by-step process to fill out the GPAT application form as mentioned below: 

Step 1: Register online and note down the system-generated application number

  • Go to the official website -natboard.edu.in
  • Click on "New Registration"
  • Candidates can alternatively click on the direct link to access the GPAT 2024 application form - https://cdn3.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/1815/88593/Index.html
  • Enter details such as Email ID, mobile number, etc.
  • Create a password
  • Choose a security question
  • Note down your password, security question, and its answer
  • Note down the system-generated application number

Step 2: Complete the GPAT application form

  • Login using the application number and password
  • Proceed to fill out the application form
  • Check all the details before submitting the Form

Step 3: Upload Scanned Images

  • Upload a scanned copy of a passport-sized photograph
  • Upload a scanned copy of the signature
  • Check the photograph and signature before the final submission

Step 4: Pay the GPAT Application Fee

  • Choose the desired mode of payment (Net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ e-challan)
  • Print the confirmation page

Q:   What type of details do I have to enter while filling out the GPAT 2024 application form?

A:

Initially, the candidate would be required to provide Email Id and Mobile No. to generate GPAT Application Number. Once the application no is generated, the applicants will have to enter their personal details such as name, father's name, address, contact number, email address and academic details such as class 10 and class 12 marks along with graduation marks and certificates. Candidates shall ensure that the information entered by them in their respective online Application Form is correct. Any request for change in such particulars after the closure of correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances.

Q:   What is the size of the Scanned passport-sized photograph that needs to be uploaded at the time of filling the GPAT application form?

A:

Candidates will have to upload Scanned passport-sized photograph and Scanned signature of size between 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG or JPEG format and size between 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG or JPEG format respectively at the time of filling the GPAT 2024 application form. The GPAT application correction facility allows candidates to make amends to this section also.

Q:   In case I fail to appear for the GPAT exam, will the GPAT application fee get refunded?

A:
The GPAT application fee is non-refundable. Once the application form is submitted at the website, no refund will be given to the candidates by the exam conducting body. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate.

GPAT 2024 - Application Fee

The following table shows the category-wise application fee for GPAT 2024. The GPAT application fee for the present year is notified by the authorities on the official website. It is increased in comparison to the previous year exam.

Q:   What is the GPAT application fee?

A:

NBE shared category-wise GPAT application fee through the official notification at official website.

The GPAT application fee for General/OBC/EWS category is INR 3500. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/TRANSGENDER the GPAT application fee is INR 2500. A candidates will have to pay applicable service/processing charges & GST over and above the examination fee via concerned Bank/ Payment Gateway Integrator.

Q:   Can I pay the GPAT application fee by demand draft?

A:
No. The application fee can only be paid through online mode. You can pay the application fee through the following methods available online such as: 1. Credit Card 2. Debit Card 3. Internet Banking 4. UPI 5. Paytm It was recommended by NTA-GPAT to make the application fee payment using Canara/ICICI Bank through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI and keep proof of fee paid. Candidates are informed that the 'Confirmation Page' of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the candidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway.

Q:   Can I pay the GPAT application fee via cash?

A:

The GPAT application fee will be paid through the bank e-challan in case the candidates opt for the cash payment option. For this, candidates are required to take the printout of challan format from the official website of GPAT. Later, visit the Bank and pay the required fee according to their category (SC/ST/General/OBC). Collect the Challan receipt and enter the challan number while filling the online application form. The GPAT application fee for General/OBC category was INR 2200. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/TRANSGENDER the GPAT application fee was INR 1100.

How to Make Corrections in GPAT 2024 Application Form?

The exam conducting authority opened the correction window on May 11, 2024. The last date to make corrections was May 14, 2024, in online mode. Candidates have to follow the steps given below to make corrections in GPAT application form 2024:

  • Visit the official website of GPAT

  • Click on the tab ‘Correction For GPAT 2024’

  • Enter the Application Number, Password, and Security Pin

  • Click on the ‘Sign In’ tab

  • Make necessary corrections and changes

  • Click on the agreement checkbox and make the final submission

After the GPAT 2024 correction was over, the authority opened the pre-final and final edit window to modify the changes in the application form between May 21 to 23, 2024, and May 28 to 30, 2024. 

Q:   Can I directly fill out the GPAT application form?

A:

No, the student cannot fill out the GPAT 2025 application form directly without registering yourself on the NBEMS GPAT portal. GPAT 2025 registration is mandatory to apply for the national-level entrance exam. GPAT registration will tentatively begin in February 2025. The application window would required candidates to provide personal and academic details as well.

Q:   Can I change my exam centre choice in GPAT application form after submitting the form?

A:
Candidates are advised to immediately contact the administrative office in such situations. However, it is not possible to change the GPAT exam centre once the choices are locked and entered. Even at the stage of GPAT application correction, candidates do not get the option to change the GPAT exam centre. Therefore, it is advised to carefully choose and select the preferred exam centre choice at the time of filling out the GPAT application form.

Q:   What is the selection process for BPharma and what is the minimum GPAT score required?

A:

The selection process for a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma) degree programme typically involves both entrance exams and merit-based selection. The minimum aggregate required for eligibility is 50% in Class 12, with mandatory courses like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Some of the popular entrance exams for B.Pharm include UPSEE, GPAT, NEET, BITSAT, and MHT CE. Q:   Is GPAT an online or offline exam?

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct GPAT entrance exam in online mode. The MPharma entrance exam is organised at the designated test centers across several cities in India. On the day of the examination, each candidate will be allotted a computer terminal at the exam centre where they will have to input correct answers against the questions being asked in the exam. Candidates will be able to appear for the exam in two shifts: morning and forenoon.

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is an annual all-India examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to evaluate candidates for admission to Master's (M.
