Rajasthan NEET PG Counselling 2024: Seat Allotment Result (On Hold), Merit List & Seat Matrix (Out), Registration & Choice Filling (Over)

The official website, or the URL for the Rajasthan NEET PG 2024 counselling process is rajpgneet2024.org. The counselling authorities change the website address of Rajasthan NEET counselling every year. The website was launched by RUHS, the counselling authority, on September 25, 2024, with the announcement of the registration commencement date.  

The Rajasthan NEET PG counselling process is conducted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur. RUHS Jaipur conducts the admission process for the postgraduate medical and dental courses such as MD, MS and MDS offered at the state. Candidates who qualified for NEET PG 2024 or NEET MDS 2024 are eligible to participate in the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2024 process. 

Rajasthan NEET PG counselling is the admission gateway to postgraduate medical and dental courses, namely, Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). To participate in the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling, candidates must appear and qualify for NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). While NEET PG is conducted for admission to MD and MS courses, NEET MDS is conducted for MDS course admission. 

The dates for the Rajasthan NEET PG 2024 counselling process for Round 1 has been announced by RUHS Jaipur on November 17, 2024. Although the registration process was conducted from September 25, 2024, to November 2, 2024, the registration window was reopened from November 17 to November 18, 2024. The first round of Rajasthan NEET 2024 counsellng is scheduled till December 4, 2024, and the session will commence on December 20, 2024. The dates for the further rounds will be announced in due course of time. The NEET PG 2024 exam was conducted on August 11, 2024, and the result was declared on August 23, 2024. Based on past years' trends, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) starts the NEET PG counselling for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats, after which the state counselling processes begin.

The total duration of the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2024 is likely to range for three to four months. It is estimated that there will be around three rounds of counselling for Rajasthan NEET PG 2024 counselling. The duration of each round will be approximately 15 to 20 days, starting from registration to institute reporting. The total duration or rounds will depend on the seat vacancies. The dates for rest of the rounds will be announced in due course of time. 

No, there is no age limit to participate in the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2024. Candidates must ensure that they have qualified for NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams by securing the cutoff marks. Apart from that, they should also fulfill other eligibility criteria laid down by NBEMS and RUHS Jaipur, the counselling authority.

Yes, as per the eligibility criteria of the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling process, it is mandatory to qualify for the NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams. Apart from that, candidates must fulfill other eligibility criteria stated by the counselling authorities of Rajasthan NEET PG, which is the RUHS Jaipur in terms of the internship cutoff date, state domicile, etc.

Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The cut off vary for different categories. NEET PG 2024 cut off percentile for the general category students is 50. Candidates belong to this category had to score minimum 50 percentile to qualify for the exam. Those who score less than minimum cut off for that category do not qualify for the exam. A merit list is released based on the cut off marks, comprising name of candidates eligible for the counselling rounds. It must be noted that NEET PG result is valid for that particular academic year only and it can't be used next year or so.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases cut off for NEET PG. It must be noted the cut off is releases along with NEET PG result. Candidates have to score minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The minimum cut off is different for different category. For the general category, the minimum qualifying cut off is 50 percentile marks while for SC/ST, the qualifying cut off is 40. The cut off depends on a number of factors including the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appeared etc.

Candidates who will be allotted seats in the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling, will have to present the following documents during the institute reporting or the document verification process.

Rajasthan PG Medical Application Form fee is INR 3,000 for unreserved category candidates and INR 1,500 for reserved category candidates. This fee amount is based on last year's Rajasthan NEET PG counselling. In case the registration fee is changed, the amount will be updated here. The application fee has to be paid in online mode, through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking modes. 

Rajasthan NEET PG counselling will be conducted in online mode through the counselling portal at the official website. However, the last round of the counselling, which is the institute reporting or document verification process, is conducted offline. Here, candidates who will be allotted seats will have to visit the instittute for the document verification and completing the admission formalities. Apart from the last round, all other processes of Rajasthan NEET PG are conducted online. 

Yes, Rajasthan NEET PG candidates will have to visit the allotted institute with the requisite documents and admission fee. The institutes' admission authorities will verify the documents and once candidates pay the admission fee, the admission offer will be confirmed. In case candidates wish to upgrade their seats or do not wish to join the institute need not report to the institute. 

The Rajasthan NEET PG counselling is being conducted online. The registration and choice filling processes have to be conducted online. RUHS Jaipur will release the seat matrix and the merit list online, on the official website of Rajasthan NEET PG counselling. However, the final round or the institute reporting and document verification has to be done by physically visiting the institute.

Eligible candidates willing to participate in the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling process will have to fill and lock the choice of seats based on the seat matrix. If a candidate fulfills the cutoff or admission criteria of the institute of their choice, they will be allotted the seats. The factors which are considered for the seat allotment are cutoff and availability of seats. In case a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he or she can opt for seat upgradation.
