Delhi University’s 99th convocation is today, February 25, 2023, at the Multi Purpose Hall, University Stadium. President Droupadi Murmu will be the chief guest, and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be the guest of honour at the event. Delhi University is all set to organise its 99th convocation today, February 25, 2023. During the event, as many as 1,57,290 undergraduate/postgraduate students will receive digital degrees. Degrees will be awarded to 47 students of DM/M.Ch in the medical field, and 170 students will be awarded medals/prizes during the function.
"The Annual Convocation of the University of Delhi for presenting the Medals/Prizes to the meritorious students and for conferring upon the Degrees to the successful candidates of the examination 2022 will be held on Saturday, 25th February, 2023 at 9.00 A.M. in the Multipurpose Hall, Delhi University Sports Stadium Complex, University of Delhi, Delhi110007," reads the official notification.
President Droupadi Murmu will be the chief guest of the event and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be present as the guest of honour at this function to be organised in the Multipurpose Hall located in the sports complex.
Items such as electronic gadgets, hand bags and any kind of arms are not allowed inside the venue. There will be no arrangement for the safe keeping of belongings at the venue. Mobiles phones are also not allowed inside the venue. One Parent/Guest will be allowed with the candidate. "The degree in case of candidates who fail to receive the same in Person at the Convocation will be sent to their respective Faculty/Department/Centre after the Convocation," added the official notification.
