Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE is an online national-level examination conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India.

GATE 2023 scorecard will be out on March 21 online under the respective logins of the candidates.

Candidates will have the following opportunities once they qualify the GATE 2023 exam:

• Valid GATE score can be used for seeking admission to:
  • Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts; and
  • Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Arts and Science, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies.
• Qualified GATE score can be used for seeking financial assistance towards the (i) Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts; and (ii) Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Arts and Science, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies.
• Many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been using the GATE score in their recruitment process.

The foreign universities that accept GATE scores are:

1. Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
2. National University of Singapore
3. Technical University of Munich
4. RWTH Aachen University (Germany)

GATE 2023 cutoff is the minimum mark needed for the candidate to qualify the exam. GATE 2023 cutoff will vary from paper to paper and will be available soon.

Now that the GATE 2023 result is out, the toppers list will be also available soon. The GATE 2023 toppers list include the name of the top candidate from each GATE paper.

Now that the GATE 2023 result is out, the candidates have to wait for the GATE scorecard to release. The GATe scorecard will be available on March 21. Candidates will have to download the GATE 2023 scorecard by May 31.

GATE 2023 official website is still not updated with the result link. Candidates who have yet note received the GATE 2023 result must keep visiting the official website for the result link.

GATE 2023 result has been announced. many students were able to check their results on the website, however, many are not able to access the link due to server error. As soon as the error is sorted, GATE 2023 result will be accessible to all.

As per some new sources, IIT K has published the GATE 2023 result. However, there are some server issues, which will be sorted out soon.

IIT Kanpur has announced GATE 2023 result. Candidates can check the result online at https://app.gate.iitk.ac.in/login. Candidates have to use their enrollment number and password to check the GATE result. However, the website is still crashing. As per some new reports, IIT Kanpur is unable to activate result link due to heavy traffic.

GATE 2023 result is still unresponsive. It is expected that the GATE result will be available once the website is running again.

The GATE 2023 application portal GOAPS is currently displaying 504 gateway time-out error. The GATE 2023 result can be expected once the website starts to function again.

GATE 2023 result is scheduled to be available after 4 pm, today. The result can be thus expected to be available anytime soon.

GATE 2023 scorecard will be out on March 21. candidates have to download the scorecard and keep the soft copy handy for all admission and recruitment purposes. Note the hardcopy of the GATE scorecard will not be sent to the candidates. The softcopy will be valid and will remain so for 3 years from the date of publication of the GATE scorecard 2023.

Complete the application in all respects. You will have to provide the following details: qualified GATE registration number(s), Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile number. IIT Kharagpur will be conducting COAP 2023. The Common Offer Acceptance Portal or COAP was initiated in 2017 to provide a common platform for the registered candidates seeking admission to make the most preferred choice for admission into an MTech Programme in participating Institutes.

Candidates have to enter their exam rank/scores. If they don't have the actual rank/score, then they can enter the expected rank/score to predict the college.

Last year, IIT Mandi started an MTech degree programme in Electric Transportation. GATE 2023 scores will be used for admission to this course. 

GATE 2023 qualified candidates have to access the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) for admission to MTech programmes. Candidates have to view the offers and make decisions as per the given time frames. A total of five main rounds of counselling and additional six rounds (A-F) will be held to fill vacant seats. Candidates accepting the seat will be required to complete the process by logging into the institute’s portal, payment of fees, and online submission of documents. Students, who do not want to accept the allotted seat, will be allowed to participate in further rounds of counselling or reject the seat and participate in further rounds of counselling.

The expected cut-off for GATE 2023 for the general category is 32-26 for ME, 25-33 for CE, 25-30 for Computer Science and Engineering, 25-33 for EE and 25-30 for EC.

IIT Kanpur will be releasing the GATE 2023 result after 4 pm today at GOAPS (Link: app.gate.iitk.ac.in/login). Candidates have to use their Enrolment ID / Email Address and password to login and check the result.

After 4 pm today, IIT K will be declaring the GATE 2023 result online under the respective logins of the candidates.

GATE 2023 scorecard will be not published today. However, the scorecard will be available separately for the GATE qualified candidates only from March 21 to May 31.

GATE 2023 result is scheduled to be declared anytime after 4 pm, today.

GATE normalization will be done for the exams, which were conducted in multiple sessions. It takes the variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across multiple sessions into account. The GATE normalization formula is available below.

GATE scores are valid for 3 years from the date of declaration of the scorecard. The scorecard can be used for:

GATE 2023 result will be announced today after 4 pm under the respective logins of the candidates at GOAPS.

• After the declaration of results, GATE 2023 Scorecards of the qualified candidates can be downloaded free of cost between 21st March 2023 to 31st May 2023 from the GATE 2023 website.
• It is highly recommended that a softcopy of the scorecard is safely stored by the candidate for all future uses.
• In case, GATE qualified candidates require the softcopy of their GATE Scorecard after 31st May 2023 and till 31st December 2023, they MUST pay a fee of INR 500 (Rupees five hundred only) per paper for obtaining the same.
• From 1st January 2024 onwards, NO scorecards will be issued for GATE 2023 qualified candidates.
• There is NO provision for the issue of hard copies of the GATE Scorecard.

For all papers for which there is only one session, actual marks obtained by the candidates will be used for calculating the GATE 2023 Score. For papers in multi-sessions, normalized marks will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks obtained by a candidate and the GATE 2023 Score will be calculated based on the normalized marks. The GATE 2023 score will be computed using the formula given below. 

Where:

• M: marks obtained by the candidate (actual marks for single session papers and normalized marks for multi-session papers)
• Mq: is the qualifying marks for general category candidates in the paper
• Mt: is the mean of marks of top 0.1% or top 10 (whichever is larger) of the candidates who appeared in the paper (in case of multi-session papers including all sessions)
• Sq: 350, is the score assigned to Mq
• St: 900, is the score assigned to Mt

Direct recruitment to Group A level posts in Central government is made via GATE scores, like Senior Field Officer (Tele), Senior Research Officer (Crypto) and Senior Research Officer (S&T) in Cabinet Secretariat Government of India, is now being carried out on the basis of GATE score. The details of the scheme of recruitment are normally published in National Newspapers / Employment News / Rozgar Samachar by the concerned authority.

GATE 2023 scores are also used by the PSUs to offer jobs. The Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) that use GATE score to shortlist the candidates for employment are:

The qualifying cut-off for all the colleges may vary every year but it has been observed that the rank required for admissions to top colleges remains nearly the same. Some of the examples of the ranks which are accepted by institutes are mentioned below in the table:

GATE 2023 scorecard will be available from March 21. The result will be available today, however, the scorecard will be available for download from March 21 to May 31 under the respective logins of the candidates.

Along with the GATE 2023 result, IIT Kanpur is expected to release the GATE 2023 final answer key today. The final answer key will have the correct answers to all the questions asked in GATE 2023 exam. The final answer key will be available in PDF format separately for all the GATE papers.

After the declaration of the GATE result, the scorecard will be available for qualified candidates only. GATE qualifying cutoff is the institute eligibility cutoff while the GATE admission cutoff ensures a call for admission at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs.
