GATE 2025 Exam Analysis: The GATE 2025 exam analysis will be updated once the exam ends. IIT Roorkee is all set to conduct GATE 2025 on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam will occur in two phases: Morning (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). Candidates can check this page for a detailed GATE 2025 exam analysis here. GATE 2024 Mechanical Student Reaction and Feedback

Candidates can check the feedback of students regarding the GATE 2024 Mechanical Exam below:

  • Overall, the paper was of moderate difficulty.
  • The aptitude and Maths section ranged from easy to moderate.
  • The Mechanical section was tough and had conceptual questions. Most of the questions were from the Thermal and Manufacturing section.
  • Maths had more questions than Calculus.  

Nikhil Srivastav: The paper was not very tough. The aptitude section had 10 questions for 15 marks, and it was quite easy. The math questions were matrices and some geometry, and this section was easier than the Mechanical section. 

Harsh: The paper was moderately difficult. It was more focused on the Manufacturing section. The aptitude section was very easy and scorable. Maths had some easy and some difficult questions. 

Akhil: The paper was not very easy or difficult. Some of the chapters of Thermodynamics were in the paper. The aptitude section was easy, and Maths was moderate in difficulty. Some of the questions in the Mechanical section were difficult and took some time to solve. 

Manish Sharma: The fluids section of the paper was easy to understand. The questions were a bit lengthy, but the aptitude section was very easy. Maths was also not very difficult. Overall, the paper was easy to moderate. 

Sunil Kumar: The paper was easy, but most questions were conceptual. The aptitude and Mechanics section had easy solvable concepts if the formulas were known. The Maths section was also easy. Compared to the previous year, this year's paper was easier. 

Siddhart: The paper was moderate. Most of the questions were from the Thermal and Manufacturing section. The Maths section was more focused on Calculus and was of moderate difficulty. The aptitude section was easy.

GATE 2024 Civil Engineering Question Paper Analysis

  • Overall, the paper was calculative and easy to moderate
  • Total 7 Multiple Select Questions (MSQs)
  • Total 35 MCQs and 23 NAT questions

GATE CE and ME Paper Student Reactions

Sahil Sharma: The paper was of moderate level. Some of the questions in the aptitude were a bit difficult. Questions were based on commonly asked topics such as Soil, Environmental and Highway. There were some unique questions in the paper this year. In Maths, questions from Series were asked. 

Jignesh: I think the paper was moderate. There were questions from Soil, Highway and more. There was one question from Matrix.

Amit: The paper was quite easy but the aptitude questions were a bit difficult. There were quite a good number of questions from Environmental and the Maths section was also okay. There were 5-6 Multiple Select Questions and there were more MCQs and NATs.

Sunny Kumar: The paper was moderate and the aptitude was more on the logical side. Mathematics had more questions and was moderate in difficulty level. The paper weightage was equally distributed. 

Yash: The CE paper was moderate in terms of difficulty. The topics were equally distributed and the paper was quite easy as compared to the previous year.

GATE 2023 ECE Question Paper Analysis & Students Reactions

As mentioned above, the GATE ECE 2023 exam lasted three hours—the GATE question paper comprised of 100 marks consisting of multiple choice and numerical answer type questions. Candidates can check the GATE ECE paper analysis:

GATE 2022 ECE Student Reaction and Feedback

Candidates can check the feedback of students regarding the GATE 2023 ECE Exam below:

  • Overall the difficulty level of the exam was Moderate to Difficult.
  • Most questions were asked from EDC, Analogue, and Control.
  • A good number of questions were from Numerical Aptitude
  • Less number of questions were asked from Communication
  • Quantitative Aptitude and Math were of easy level

Ravi: Overall, the paper was tough. EDC and Analogue asked the most questions. Unexpected questions were asked in the Engineering Math section, while questions in the Aptitude section were of moderate level.

Arun: The paper was difficult. A good number of questions were from Numerical Aptitude. Engineering Math was easy, and Quantitative Aptitude was difficult.

Manish: Overall, the paper was easy. If you have prepared for the exam properly, then you can score good marks in the exam. Aptitude was very easy, but some questions in Analog were tough, and a very small number of questions were asked from Communication. Engineering Math was also easy.

Nitesh Sharma: Overall, the paper was of a moderate level. A good number of questions were asked from Analogue and Communication. Quantitative Aptitude and Math was of easy level.

Shubh Tiwari: The question paper was of moderate level. A good number of questions were asked about EDC, Analog, and Control. If you have good preparation for the exam, then you can easily answer these questions. Most of the questions were numerically based. Engineering Math was tricky, and Quantitative Aptitude was easy.

GATE 2023 CSE Question Paper Students Reaction and Reviews

Candidates can check the feedback of students regarding the GATE 2023 CSE Exam below:

Sudhir from IIIT Delhi says more questions were asked from OS, and unexpectedly, a few questions were asked from DS. Questions from the coding part were tough.

Varun says the overall difficulty level of questions was tough. The quantitative part and questions from coding were easy.

Satyam says most questions were asked from Cisco and Compilers.

According to Gaurav, Aptitude questions in today’s GATE CSE paper were easy. 1 or 2 questions were from coding. Questions from the DBMS section were tougher.

Rashid: The question paper was pf moderate level. Engineering Maths was moderate and Quantitative aptitude was easy.

GATE 2022 Answer Key

After the conclusion of the entrance examination, various coaching institutes are expected to release the GATE answer key, compiled by the institute experts. Candidates can check the answer key to calculate their probable secured scores in the examination. The official GATE 2023 answer key has been released later by IIT Kharagpur.

GATE 2022 Cutoff

The minimum scores that the candidates need to score in order to be eligible for admissions or PSU recruitments will constitute the GATE 2023 cutoff. The authorities will release the cutoff, after the availability of the result. Various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of available seats, the total number of candidates and more will be checked by the authorities while preparing the cutoff.
