GATE 2025 Exam Date: GATE 2025 Exam Begins, Check Branch-Wise Exam Dates, Admit Card, Exam, and Result Dates

IIT Roorkee has released the exam dates for the GATE exam 2025. Day 1 and 2 of the GATE exam have been completed. The scheduled dates are- February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. The GATE hall ticket link was activated on January 7, 2025. Candidates can visit the GOAPS portal to download their admit card. GATE 2025 will be conducted in 2 shift a day mode. The GATE exam timings are Morning (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). Candidates must be aware of the GATE 2025 Exam pattern. The exam will be conducted online (CBT mode). GATE 2025: Application Form Dates 

The registration window for the GATE 2025 Application is now closed. The last date to submit the GATE application form with extended fees was Oct 11, 2024. Candidates had to register for the GATE 2025 application form online at the GATE 2025 website.   

The last date for late fee applications was 11 October 2025 (11:59 p.m.). To avoid late fees, candidates must pay the application fee through the payment gateways given in the GOAPS 2025 portal and complete the application form before the closing date. 

• Submission of application form without late fees: August 28, 2024 to October 3, 2024 
• Submission of application form with late fees:  October 4, 2024 to October 11, 2024 

GATE 2025: Correction Window 

The GATE 2025 Application Form Correction facility is now closed. For PwD candidates, the last day to correct the GATE application form was November 22, 2024, and for other applicants, it was November 20, 2024. Candidates can edit Paper and Examination City, add a new test paper, and change personal details such as Category, Name, etc. Candidates must regularly check the application status and rectify the defects if found. 

GATE 2025: Admit Card Release Dates 

The GATE 2025 Admit card is now available on the official GATE 2025 website. Candidates must download and carry their GATE admit card in the exam hall, or else they will not be allowed to take part in the exam. Candidates must check all the details on the admit card. In case any defect is found, immediately inform the authorities using the contact details given. 

GATE 2025: Answer Key Release Dates 

The GATE 2025 Answer key will be released within 1-2 weeks after completing the GATE 2025 exam. Candidates can also avail of a response sheet before releasing the answer key via the GATE 2025 website. Candidates can match their responses with the GATE answer key & challenge against any question for a fee. Candidates must know that they need to pay fees for every question challenged. 

The GATE 2025 portal will open a window of about a week for challenging the questions. After successfully analyzing the challenged questions and answers, a revised answer key will be released on the portal for final reference. 

GATE 2025: Result Date 

The GATE 2025 result will be announced on March 19, 2025. Candidates can check their GATE 2025 results at the GOAPS portal, by providing their enrollment ID and password. The scorecard of GATE 2025 will also be available on the portal.

GATE 2025 Scorecard Availability: The official GATE 2025 scorecard will be free from March 28, 2025, to May 31, 2025. Later, the scorecards will be available for download by paying a fee of INR 500 per test paper from June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Only qualified candidates can view and download their scorecards. The GATE scorecard will be valid for three years from the publication date of the results.
