Joint admission counseling (JAC) is conducted for admission to 5 institutes of the Delhi government, including DTU. You can get a seat in the B.E. , B.Tech. , and B.Arch. Courses offered by these institutions. The participating colleges in JAC include:

1. Delhi Technological University (DTU)
2. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)
3. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D)
4. Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU)
5. Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT)

The whole process is done in five rounds, including spot round admission. There are 85% of seats reserved for candidates from the Delhi region in the JAC.

Yes. A student who is eligible for both JAC and JoSAA counselling can register for both and participate in counselling.

Since these counselling processes cater to different sets of institutes, students who meet the eligibility criteria for both can apply for each counselling simultaneously.

The JAC Delhi 2025 counselling process starts with online registration. The registration process is given below:

• Step 1: Authentication Candidates have to authenticate themselves using the following details: JEE Main 2025 application number Name as per JEE Main 2025 admit card Date of birth as per JEE Main application Once the above details match successfully, candidates are asked to enter their email id and mobile number. A verification code is sent to the mobile number and thereafter candidates can enter a password of their choice. Candidates have to use the JEE Main application number and password for logging into the JAC Delhi portal whenever needed.
• Step 2: Filling if the application form Once the authentication is done, candidates have to fill in the application form carefully with all details asked.
• Step 3: Upload the scanned documents Candidates have to upload the scanned documents in the online application form. The scanned documents must be as per the format indicated in the online form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee. Candidates have to pay the counselling cum application fee. The mode of application fee payment is credit card/debit card/net banking.
• Step 5: Printout of the form Candidates have to take the printout of the filled-in application form. This printout is to be submitted to the reporting institute.

B.Tech admission JAC Delhi counselling: JAC (Joint Admission Counselling) Delhi conducts centralized counselling for admission to various engineering programs offered by participating institutes. To participate in JAC Delhi counselling, you need to meet the eligibility criteria and qualify the entrance examination. Here are the steps to apply for JAC Delhi counselling:

• Visit the official JAC Delhi website and register for counselling by filling out the application form.
• Upload the required documents and pay the counselling fee.
• Participate in the choice filling and locking process where you can choose your preferred institutes and courses.
• After the seat allotment process, you need to confirm your admission by paying the admission fee and reporting to the allotted institute.

AC Delhi is a counselling program for students who want to pursue BE/BTech and BArch degree programs in Delhi. It is conducted for admission to 5 technical universities/institutes that are part of the Government of NCT Delhi. These include:

1. Delhi Technological University (DTU)
2. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)
3. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D)
4. Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU)

To register for JAC Delhi 2025, candidates need the below given JEE Main 2025 details: JEE Main 2025 application form JEE Main 2025 admit card JEE Main 2025 application number The first step to register for JAC Delhi is to authenticate. To authenticate candidates have to enter the below details: JEE Main 2025 application number, Name as per JEE Main 2025 admit card. Date of birth as per JEE Main application. The subject combination needed in class 12th to apply for JAC Delhi counselling are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and having passed English as a subject of study.

No. There is no maximum or minimum age criteria are prescribed in the JAC Delhi counselling process. Candidates with JEE Main rank can apply for JAC Delhi counselling, however, minimum marks is needed in class12 to be eligibl for JAC Delhi counselling.

The students who have passed qualifying exams (i.e., 12th) from the schools located in Delhi (having PIN CODE of Delhi), irrespective of the location of their hometown, would be considered as "Delhi Candidate" in the JAC Delhi counselling process. 

The joint admission counseling (JAC) is conducted for admission to the B.Tech course in participating Delhi colleges. The spot round is the final round of counseling in the JAC. The process for spot counseling is as follows:

• Only previously registered applicants who have not completed any choices, did not report to allotted colleges, or whose seat has been cancelled for any reason are eligible to participate.
• Following the publication of the vacancy, the JAC will announce the location of the spot round.
• The candidates have the option to accept any available seat by paying the seat acceptance fee of INR 95,000 as DD.
• Once a candidate accepts a seat, they are marked frozen, and no branch upgrade is permitted later.
• There is no refund for seat cancellation, and the fee must be submitted immediately as a DD to get admission confirmation.

Admission to IIIT D B.Tech courses is via the JAC Delhi counselling only. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) do not offer admission via JoSAA counselling. Therefore candidates have to apply for JAC Delhi 2025 counselling for B.Tech admission to IIIT D in 2025. Joint Admission Counseling Delhi conducts JAC Delhi counselling for admission to BE/B.Tech and B.Arch degree programmes offered by 5 technical universities/institutes of the Government of NCT, Delhi. It may not be possible for you to change your details in your JEE Main application form once the admission process has begun. JEE Main correction window does open for some time but that is for the application process only. Thus, you cannot change your category in the JEE Application form for the counselling.

The systems internally retrieve the credentials of the candidate like gender, category, sub-category, date of birth etc from the candidate’s database and the available choices specific to the candidate based on Rank, category, sub-category. The candidate can view the JAC Delhi choices as per their selection of counselling-type and based on gender, category, sub -category.

Candidates are allowed to fill as many choices theu want via the JAC Delhi counselling process. As per the eligibility of the candidates, the available seats are displayed on the screen. Candidates need to select the choices as per their preference.

No. Candidates are not allowed to change the choices filled by them in JAC Delhi counselling once theu have submitted them. Before submitting the choices, candidates can fill and modify the choices as many times they want. AFter final submisison, no changes in the choices will be allowed.

JAC Delhi counselling seat allotment status will be made available on candidate’s login after declaration of seat allotment result in each round as specified in the counselling schedule.

In such case, the candidate will not be considered in the remaining rounds of the JAC Delhi counselling.

In case of a tie, the candidate with higher rank in JEE Main, as issued by the NTA shall rank higher in JAC Delhi counselling for allotment of seats.

Candidates who are issued the provisional JAC Delhi seat allotment letter and pay the seat acceptance fee have to then report to the reporting centre with all documents for verification. The reporting schedule is announced on the official website and candidates have to follow the same while reporting for document verification.

In the JAC Delhi 2025 counselling process, the document verification starts after the allotment of seats. The document verification process takes place in the offline mode. Seat allotments: Candidates are then allotted courses and institutes as per their JEE Main 2025 ranks and eligibility criteria. They are issued the seat allotment letter. Seat allotment letter and fee payment: After issuance of the seat allotment letter, candidates have to make the fee payment, confirm their seats and can freeze their allotted seat if they do not want any up-gradation of seat/institute as per their filled choices. Document verification: As per the schedule announced, candidates have to visit the reporting centre for verification of documents after they have paid the seat acceptance fee. Admission: The admission status will be then updated on the website under the respective logins of the candidates. Once the admission committee confirms the admission, the candidates can download the issued provisional admission letter from their respective logins on the official website.

No. A student is eligible only if he/she has (i) secured 60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and (ii) passed English as a subject of study of the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective). Some relaxation is given to reserved category students only.

Yes, candidates can directly register for the JAC Delhi and JAC Chandigarh spot rounds. However, note that the spot rounds are held as per the availability of vacant seats. JAC spot rounds are held physically. Candidates have to report physically along with payment of the balance fee at the respective University/Institute. A special Spot Round may be conducted by the respective University/Institute, if seats remain vacant after the spot round. JAC Delhi Counselling 2025 is conducted in 4 rounds and one spot round. The counselling process in each round includes registrations, choice filling, seat allotment, payment of the seat acceptance fee and physical reporting at the respective institute.

The official website of JAC Delhi is jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. JAC or Joint Admission Committee conducts admissions to  BE/BTech and BArch courses offered by participating institutes in Delhi on the basis of JEE Main scores and pass percentage secured in Class XII or equivalent examination. The admission process is popularly known as JAC Delhi admissions. Since admissions are based on All India Ranks of JEE Main, there is no entrance exam. Interested candidates only have to apply for the counselling process conducted by JAC.

For a candidate, who has passed the qualifying examination through Patrachar Vidyalaya, Delhi / National Institute of Open School, Delhi (NIOS), the criterion for deciding the region shall be the location of his/her centre of examination. Delhi candidates can easily get CSE in IGDTUW through JAC Delhi counseling. However, based on previous year's trends, the admission possibility to CSE was around rank 157,881 (OBC) in round one of JAC counseling for Delhi region applicants.

IGDTUW cutoff 2024 is out for JAC Delhi for admission to the BTech and BArch courses. As per the Round 1 of IGDTUW JAC Delhi cutoff 2024, the closing ranks ranged between 3277 and 82511 wherein Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) was the most competitive course to get into for the students belonging to the General Home State category.  IGDTUW JAC Delhi cutoff 2024 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering stood at, 43914 in Round 1. Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship JAC Delhi cutoff 2024 was concluded for Round 1. As per the DESU Round 1 cutoff 2024, the rank needed to get into DESU is between 53292 and 83421. Yes. Seats are reserved for Single Girl Child candidate (Girl having no brother and sister (except twin sister)), who have passed 10+2 from schools located in NCT of Delhi for admission to B. Tech. courses in DTU and IGDTUW.
