All about IGDTUW you need to know.
Placements: The placement record of IGDTUW is quite good compared to other engineering colleges across India. More than 80 percent of students get placements in on-campus placements in their fourth year. Google, Microsoft, Grow, and LinkedIn are the top companies that have been visiting the college over the years. More than 50 percent of students get opportunities to do internships from the second year during summer breaks for three weeks.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that attractive according to me. The library is good, with enough space to study and plenty of books available for each course. The classrooms in my branch are not that good as they have no AC, which disturbs concentration during the summer.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and most of them are PhD graduates. Their teaching style is good. The college teaches us programming languages from the first year and also guides us in developing websites, which is beneficial for getting internships during our second and third years. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and they are held timely by the administration.
Other: I opted for this course because of its growing importance and job opportunities over the years. It would be better to remove subjects like Physics and Basic Electrical Engineering from the course, as we ultimately deal with computers. Ignite is the sports event, and Trangana is the fest of the college, which is conducted in a grand way. Scholarship opportunities are available for students with low family income.

Best college for engineering and best placements.
Placements: IGDTUW placements are excellent, with about 90 percent of students getting placed, which is a very good percentage. After every year, students have to take internship courses, from which we receive certificates that also improve our resumes. Students get placed in top companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, etc., which offer good packages. Our average package is about 12 LPA, and the maximum international package goes up to 1.25 CPA.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi for students, as it's a technical college where internet access is important. There are also hostels available for students who are not from Delhi or live far away from the college. Hostel students are provided with AC rooms.
Faculty: Each year has two semesters, which contain mid-semester exams and then end-term exams. For better placements, exams are tough and checking is also strict. Practical exams are also conducted for a better examination of students. It's quite difficult to get a good CGPA, but you can achieve it through hard work.

The college is mediocre with good crowd.
Placements: The highest package is 1Cr for 2025 batch in a company called motorq, the lowest package was 6lpa top recruiting companies are microsoft, adobe, google, tata, etc. 75% got placed last year as some of the students didnt sit for placements as they wanted to pursue higher studies, top roles include software engineers, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs and libraries are built decently in our college, they have all the necessary equipments and even infrastructure wise also they are good. Classrooms should be worked upon as half of them don't have proper ventilation system and ACs and infra wise also not so great. There is Wi-Fi facility in the college and is also accessible to the students.
Faculty: Faculty is good, all the pros are good in their respective fields. They are very supportive and continuously guide us. Currently new education policy has been adopted for us and core subjects are being taught to us in the first year itself, below 5 CGPA we won't be given our degrees.

Review of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women.
Placements: The college has an active placement cell. Most of the students in the computer science or computer science with artificial intelligence course get multiple opportunities to sit for internships and recruitment. Many big tech giants, such as Google, Microsoft, and Flipkart, visit the college mostly for software-developed positions. The opportunities for data scientists or in artificial intelligence are not yet as good as the SWE.
Infrastructure: The labs are decent, with the necessary facilities. The library has almost all the books. Though the new computer science department has new classrooms with air conditioning, most of the classes are old but in decent condition. Hostels are also good, with a shop near the hostel.
Faculty: The curriculum could have been better. As I have a specialization in artificial intelligence, the integration of other subjects should have been explained in detail. Only a few teachers are interested in their subject, have in-depth knowledge and impart it effectively. Most of the teachers focus on course complications. And ultimately, you have to study on YouTube. The exams are not so tough. And the pass percentage is 95%.

Good placements and grades are very important, but has poor infrastructure.
Placements: Basically, placements are quite good. Companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Uber, etc. are recruiting students. SDE roles are offered mostly. However, it depends from company to company. There are also choices for applying for roles. Around 70% or more students have gotten placed in our senior batches this year.
Infrastructure: Do not expect anything in the name of infrastructure. There are classes only for lectures. You can't just sit in a room for lunch, and campus is also quite small. The hostel is quite great, disciplined, good food, and hygienic, but again, due to a lack of space, it's difficult to get a hostel room easily.
Faculty: Some professors are really nice, but some are very arrogant, depending on their behavior and also yours. Faculty is helpful, but I would say seniors are more generous when it comes to help. Semester exams are not that tough, but the checking of the professor matters the most. Pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I wish I had taken CSE AI, as the faculty is really chill. Fests are just so much fun. Students really engage in extracurriculars, and my friends also got scholarship and all. Overall, it's good.

Q:   Can I get IGDTUW, B.Tech with 88% in JEE Main?

A:

General, OBC, SC, ST, or PwD categories have different cutoff ranks for admission.

In any case, with a 88% score in JEE Fundamental, you have areas of strength for an of getting into IGDTUW for a few B.Tech programs.

A 88% score in JEE Principal ordinarily means a percentile somewhere in the range of 95 and 98, which is an extremely serious score.

If you belong to OBC,  SC,  ST,  or PwD categories,  the cutoff ranks for you will be significantly lower,  further increasing your chances of admission.

Q:   Is MCA at IGDTUW Delhi worth the investment?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

* Placement Prospects: While the majority of students (approximately 75-80%) are placed, the placement opportunities are limited to certain companies, mainly smaller ones. Big tech giants like TCS, Capgemini, and Cognizant often visit the campus, but the highest package offered is INR 19 LPA, while the average package is INR 5.5 LPA.
* Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has basic infrastructure, with decent hostels, a small library, and relatively new classrooms. However, the quality of facilities varies, and some areas require improvement.
* Faculty and Teaching: Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, with some exceptions. The course curriculum could benefit from updates and more emphasis on practical assessments and projects.
* Student Life: Student life is relatively calm, with regular fests and events organized by various clubs and societies.
* Cost: The course fee is approximately INR 1,05,000 per year, making it an affordable option.

Considering these factors, whether MCA at IGDTUW Delhi is worth the investment depends on individual priorities and goals. For those seeking a stable job with a decent package, the college might offer satisfactory opportunities. However, for aspirants aiming for top-tier companies or seeking specialised skill sets, IGDTUW might not meet their expectations.

Ultimately, prospective students should weigh the pros and cons carefully before deciding on investing in this program.

If you are from OBC/SC/ST category, then you will definitely get an admission. But with general category, it will be tough as the last cut -off is always around 90k. Even in spot round there will be barely any chance of general category to get an admission with rank above 90k. But with any category
