TANCET 2020 Analysis: Section wise Review and Expected Cut-offs

Business Situation Analysis:

Comparatively, Business Situation Analysis section was moderately difficult than last year’s TANCET question paper. The test takers were give a business situation in the form of a paragraph followed by multiple choice questions. The questions were also based on percentage and equivalence among  other topics.

Reading Comprehension

This year, the Reading and Comprehension section was of moderate difficulty level. There were three passages with the first two carrying seven questions whereas the last passage comprised six questions. Last year, this  section had two passages each having 10 questions.

Quantitative Aptitude

Easier than last year, Quantitative Aptitude section of TANCET 2020 was easy and ascoring section for exam takers. Most of the questions were based on Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry, Trigonometry, Permutation & Combination and Statistics & Probability.

General English

General English section of TANCET 2020 was easier than last year’s question paper. It comprised questions based on Synonym/Antonyms, sSingle Word Substitutions, Figures of Speech and Expressions, sayings, Phrasal Words and Error Correction in Sentences and Grammar.

Data Sufficiency & Reasoning

Data Sufficiency and Reasoning section was the most testing segment of TANCET exam for second year in a row. This year, questions were asked on Pie Chart, Syllogism, Blood Relation Analogy, Coding Decoding, Direction, Sitting Arrangement and Series.

Expected TANCET 2020 Cut Off for MBA

Given the difficulty level of the TANCET 2020 question paper, the cut offs are expected to be lower this year. Candidates can check below category-wise expected TANCET cut off 2020 for MBA programme:
