JIPMER BSc Nursing 2021 admission to BSc Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing programme will be done based on NEET scores from 2021-22 sessions. To apply online, candidates have to login into their accounts using their NTA  user ID and password. JIPMER BSc Nursing 2021 exam via NEET 2021 will be held on September 12, 2021, and is conducted to facilitate admissions into four years of the BSc Nursing Nursing programme. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry itself used to conduct the exam till last year. From this year the admission will be done based on NEET scores hence the JIPMER BSc Nursing aspirants will now have to appear for NEET 2021 exam which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).NTA has released the NEET 2021 admit card has been released. JIPMER BSc Nursing 2021 through NEET candidates can now download the admit card by visiting the official website of NTA NEET.  

Candidates willing to take admission into the BSc Nursing course have to apply for NEET 2021 by visiting the official website of NTA. The last date to apply is August 10, 2021. The application will be filed online and candidates can choose from 13 Languages - English, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Odiya, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi and Telugu as a medium of the question paper. 

There will be two stages to the application procedure. Candidates will be required to input specific information in the first phase, and they will be required to enter the remaining information in the second phase, which will take place before the announcement of the results.

About JIPMER BSc Nursing

JIPMER Nursing 2021 through NEET is a national level exam and will now be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from 2021-22 session. The new conducting body, NTA, will announce the dates for all the events to conclude the admission JIPMER BSc Nursing 2021 through NEET for the 2021-22 session. NTA has started accepting the NEET 2021 applications from July 13 and candidates will be able to apply till August 10 (extended). The national level entrance test will be conducted on September 12.

The JIPMER offers 94 seats under its BSc Nursing programme. Out of 94 seats in BSc Nursing, Nine seats are horizontally reserved for Male candidates and the remaining 85 seats are reserved for female candidates. The admissions will be strictly granted based on performance in the national level entrance exam. All candidates should appear for the common entrance examination. Seats will be allotted as per merit order. Nomination / Sponsoring of candidates by Government /Non-Government institutions will not be entertained under any circumstances.

JIPMER Nursing 2021 eligibility is decided by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research. Eligibility criteria is the basic parameter set to assess the competency of the candidates to pursue the course. Below are the eligibility criteria for JIPMER Nursing 2021:

BSc Nursing:

  • Candidates should be an Indian national
  • The candidate should be 17 years of age as of December 31, 2021
  • Candidates should have passed class 12 or equivalent exams from a recognized board/university.
  • Candidates belonging to the (Unreserved) UR category, should have scored 50 per cent marks for the reserved category candidates (SC/ST), minimum of 40 per cent marks are required and for the OPH category 45 per cent marks are required
  • Candidate should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects in class 12
