JIPMER nursing 2021 exam pattern helps the candidates to understand the mode, type of questions, duration and overall nature of the exam. The exam pattern helps the candidates to plan better and strategize better accordingly. The exam pattern for the JIPMER nursing 2021 will be decided by the conducting body Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) itself.
The JIPMER nursing 2021 exam will be held via online mode. The questions will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) in which candidates will be given four options and they have to choose one out of the four. The mode of communication of the question paper will be in the English language. JIPMER nursing 2021 exam will have100 MCQ type questions. The candidates have to finish the paper in one and a half hours (90 minutes). For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded a +4 mark and for every incorrect question, -1 mark will be given.

Who is Eligible for JIPMER Nursing 2021?
JIPMER Nursing 2021 exam will be conducted in the third week of June. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is the conducting body of the exam and decides the eligibility criteria. Below is the JIPMER nursing 2021 eligibility criteria:
- Candidates should be an Indian national
- The candidate should be 17 years of age as of December 31, 2021
- Candidates should have passed class 12 or equivalent exams from a recognized board/university.
- Candidates belonging to the (Unreserved) UR category, should have scored 50 per cent marks for the reserved category candidates (SC/ST), minimum of 40 per cent marks are required and for the OPH category 45 per cent marks are required.
- Candidate should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects in class 12
JIPMER Nursing 2021 Syllabus
JIPMER Nursing 2021 exam will be based on the syllabus of classes 11 and 12 for the BSc nursing entrance examination. Candidates have to prepare the concepts of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taught in the 11 and 12 classes.
