DSSSB Eligibility criteria vary as per the post a candidate applies for under the official notification. However, the basic parameters that candidates need to fulfil in order to meet DSSSB eligibility 2024 for different posts are given below:

Librarian:

  1. Degree from a recognised University or Equivalent
  2. Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Diploma in Library Science or a recognised University/ Institute or Equivalent
  3. Experience of Two Years in Library/ computerization of a Library (or)
  4. One year Certificate in Computer Application from a recognised institute or equivalent

Assistant Teacher (Nursery):

  1. Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) Certificate or Intermediate or it's equivalent with at least 45 per cent marks from a recognised Board/University
  2. Diploma/ Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than two years or BEd (Nursery) from a recognised Institute
  3. Must have passed Hindi at the secondary level

Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science):

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer application BCA from a recognised university (or)
  2. Graduation in Computer Science from a recognised university (provided that the computer Science subject must be studied in all years as the main subject) (or)
  3. BE/BTech (Computer Science/Information Technology) from a recognised university (or)
  4. Graduation in any subject and A-level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Information & Communication and Technology, Government of India

Physical Education Teacher:

  • Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education, BEd or its equivalent

Manager (Accounts):

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (or) MCom from a recognised University/Institute

PGT:

  • Graduate/Master's Degree in the concerned subject. Degree/Diploma in Training/Education

Q:   What are the passing marks in the DSSSB exam?

A:
The Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board DSSSB conducts this exam to recruit for multiple posts. The DSSSB selection process varies post-wise and usually consists of three stages. 1. The minimum passing marks in the DSSSB exam are 40 percent for the general category. 2. For OBC, there is a relaxation of 5%, and for SC, ST, and PH categories, there is a relaxation of 10%. 3. Apart from it, you need to qualify for the post-wise cutoff of the DSSSB post for which you are applying. Q:   Can a B.Ed. Holder apply for the DSSSB PRT?

A:

No, candidates having a degree in Bachelors of Education (BEd) cannot apply for the DSSSB PRT 2024 exam. A recent verdict by the Supreme Court declared that only holders of DEIEd certificates are eligible to become primary-grade teachers. Now, the candidates holding the BEd degree will not be allowed to appear for the primary teacher recruitment exam in Delhi Government Schools. However, the candidates having a degree of BTC/DElEd along with the BEd degree will remain eligible for the DSSSB Primary Teacher recruitment exam. Q:   What is the eligibility for DSSSB TGT?

A:
To fill openings for TGT positions in government schools, the Subordinate Services Selection Board of Delhi holds the DSSSB TGT. The following qualifications must be met for DSSSB TGT: 1. Age requirement: At the time of application, your age must be under 32 years. 2. Education requirements: You must have a Bachelor's degree in the TGT subject for which you are applying. To apply for DSSSB TGT, you must have minimum 45% in your graduation. 3. Exam requirement: You must have qualified for the CTET exam conducted by CBSE. 4. Additional criteria: You must have a B.Ed. Degree or a Diploma in training education Also, working knowledge of Hindi is required, or you must have studied the language through the eighth grade.

Q:   Can I apply for more than one DSSSB post?

Yes, you can apply for more than one DSSSB post, provided you fulfill the eligibility criteria for each post and you are able to submit separate application forms for each post as per the instructions given in the recruitment notification.
