Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) releases the DSSSB eligibility criteria 2023 on the official website. DSSSB eligibility criteria are released along with the DSSSB Notification 2023. DSSSB is soon going to announce the DSSSB Vacancies 2023 for the post of DSSSB PGT 2023DSSSB PRT 2023 & DSSSB JE 2023 in the month of May & June 2023, tentatively. Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is responsible for conducting the recruitment exams for various posts under several departments of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi). DSSSB recruitment exams are conducted every year to fill vacancies for the posts of PGT, TGT, Assistant Teacher (Primary), Assistant Teacher (Nursery)CounselorJr. Secretariat Assistant (LDC), Head Clerk, Patwari, JE, AE, and others. 

Q:   What are the total marks allotted to the DSSSB exam?

A:

The total marks allotted to the DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) exam varies for different posts and exams. The maximum marks can be between 100 to 300 marks, depending on the post.

In general, the DSSSB exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and each question is usually worth one mark. Q:   Can I apply for more than one DSSSB post?

Yes, you can apply for more than one DSSSB post, provided you fulfill the eligibility criteria for each post and you are able to submit separate application forms for each post as per the instructions given in the recruitment notification.

However, it's important to note that the application process and requirements may vary for different posts. Therefore, you should carefully read the instructions given in the recruitment notification for each post and follow them while filling the application form.

In some cases, the DSSSB may conduct separate exams for different posts. Therefore, you should also check the exam schedule and make sure that the exams for the posts you are applying for do not clash with each other.

It's also important to note that you will have to pay a separate application fee for each post you apply for. Therefore, you should check the application fee details for each post and make sure that you have enough funds to pay the fees for all the posts you are applying for.

Q:   What is the DSSSB exam eligibility?

A:

DSSSB Eligibility criteria vary as per the post a candidate applies for under the official notification. However, the basic parameters that candidates need to fulfil in order to meet DSSSB eligibility 2024 for different posts are given below:

Librarian:

  1. Degree from a recognised University or Equivalent
  2. Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Diploma in Library Science or a recognised University/ Institute or Equivalent
  3. Experience of Two Years in Library/ computerization of a Library (or)
  4. One year Certificate in Computer Application from a recognised institute or equivalent

Assistant Teacher (Nursery):

  1. Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) Certificate or Intermediate or it's equivalent with at least 45 per cent marks from a recognised Board/University
  2. Diploma/ Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than two years or BEd (Nursery) from a recognised Institute
  3. Must have passed Hindi at the secondary level

Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science):

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer application BCA from a recognised university (or)
  2. Graduation in Computer Science from a recognised university (provided that the computer Science subject must be studied in all years as the main subject) (or)
  3. BE/BTech (Computer Science/Information Technology) from a recognised university (or)
  4. Graduation in any subject and A-level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Information & Communication and Technology, Government of India

Physical Education Teacher:

  • Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education, BEd or its equivalent

Manager (Accounts):

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (or) MCom from a recognised University/Institute

PGT:

Q:   I have completed my history honors degree from the University of Delhi. Can I apply for TGT History in DSSSB?

A:
Yes, you can apply for the TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) position in history with the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board DSSSB if you meet their eligibility criteria. To apply for the TGT history position with DSSSB you must meet the following eligibility requirements: 1. Q:   I live in Uttar Pradesh state and belong to SC caste. I am 31 years old and have passed B.Ed and CTET 1. Am I eligible for DSSSB PRT 2023?

A:
Candidates applying for DSSSB PRT 2023 must have acquired a certain level of education. 1. Candidates applying for the DSSSB PRT must have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board. 2. Candidates must also be pursuing a Diploma or degree courses like diplomas in elementary educations/B.El.Ed/diploma in education/special education with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. 3. The candidate must have also qualified CTET exam 1 which is conducted by CBSE. Adding them, the age limit is 30 years for general category but for SC there is age relaxation of 5 years. So yes you are completely eligible for DSSSB PRT 2023.
