What is AIFSET?

AIFSET or All India Forensic Science Entrance Test is a national level entrance exam, which is the admission gateway to BSc in Forensic Science at the participating institutes, which are Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur; Invertis University, Bareilly and Alakh Prakash Goyal (APG) Shimla University. The exam is conducted in multiple phases.

The AIFSET 2021 exam for the fourth phase was conducted from June 19 and June 20. The result was declared on June 22. AIFSET is an objective type exam that carries 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam is conducted in online remote proctored mode. Candidates will have to appear from the exam from their home by visiting the link given after application.

AIFSET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fulfil the following criteria in order to be eligible to take the AIFSET 2021 exam.

  • Candidates should pass their Class 12 Board exam from a recognised institute in the Science stream

  • They should have studied Chemistry, Physics, Biology and/or Mathematics as core subjects

  • They should secure minimum 45 per cent aggregate

AIFSET 2021 Application Process

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to complete the AIFSET 2021 application process.

  • Visit the official website of AIFSET

  • Click on the tab indicating Application Form

  • Enter Email ID or Mobile Number

  • Select state, district and preferred university

  • Their username and password will be sent to be to their registered email address and mobile number

  • After logging in with these credentials, they will have to pay the application fee of Rs 2,000 through credit/debit card or net banking modes

AIFSET 2021 Exam Instructions

Candidates have to follow the steps below while taking the AIFSET 2021 exam:

  • Candidates will be given a time slot and link to appear for the exam

  • Candidates have to log in at least 15 minutes before the exam timing. In case candidates are unable to log in on time, the link to take the test will be disabled and they will not be able to take the test

  • On the day of the exam, candidates will have to visit the exam portal and log in with the unique user id and password provided to them after registering for the examination.

A:

The total number of questions in the AIFSET exam is 100. The mode of the exam is computer-based or online. There is no sectional time limit to attempt the questions. The questions appear from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects. However. there is no sectional demarcation of the questions of the AIFSET exam.

Candidates who have appeared or passed Class 12 Board exam in the Science stream with minimum 45 percent aggregate are eligible to appear for the AIFSET exam.
