CUET UG answer key 2025 will be released soon after the exams are over. NTA is expected to release CUET provisional answer key and candidate's CUET response sheet in first week of July 2025. With the help of CUET 2025 provisional answer key candidates can calculate their approximate scores. Candidates will be allowed to challenge the provisional answer key. Candidates will have to submit proof along with the question challenged. Based on the challenges received, NTA releases the CUET final answer key a day before the declaration of results. NTA is expected to declare CUET 2025 results in last week of July. CUET UG 2025 exam will be scheduled tentatively in May/June 2025 in multiple phases.

National Testing Agency has not released the CUET 2025 provisional answer key. NTA is yet to issue the notification regarding the release of CUET answer key 2025 and CUET response sheet. On release of the CUET provisional answer key, candidats can challenge the answer key. Based on the objections recieved, CUET UG 2025 final answer key will be released tentatively in last week of July 2025.

Q:   Which colleges can I get for B.Sc maths with 400+/800 score in CUET?

A:

Consider this info:

1. Scoring above 700 can be taken as a very good score in CUET. Marks above 600 can get you a seat in top colleges like DU, BHU, JNU, etc.

2. A score between the range of 400-600 can be regarded as an average score in CUET 2025 exam. Students with such scores are likely to secure admission to good colleges in India. 

So, if you want to get into top good college it would not be possible as B.Sc maths courses is in much higher demand but you can look upto other average government for conselling.

Q:   What is CUET UG passing marks?

A:

There are no prescribed passing marks for CUET UG. In order to know if a candidate has passed the CUET 2025 exam or not or is eligible for admission to desired course and university, they are required to check the passing marks released by the colleges/university seperately. After the declaration of CUET result, all the colleges or universities will release the course-wise passing marks or CUET UG cutoff, which will be used for shortlisting candidates for admission to UG courses.

On the basis of the cut off released by the CUET participating universities and candidates meeting the criteria will be offered amdission to UG courses.

A:

National testing Agency (NTA) releases the provisional CUET answer key soon after the exam is conducted. In the CUET UG provisional answer key candidates can check the correct options for each question and their markes responses. On release of the CUET UG provisional answer key, candidates are given the opportunity to challenge the answer key before the declaration of results. In case of any discrepancy in the answers provided by the conducting body, candidates can raise objections with justification/evidence. If found correct, CUET answer key is revised and is released soon after. 

CUET UG 2025 provisional answer key will be released at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their recorded responses and CUET answer key. Candidates will be able to challenge the CUET UG provisional answer key in three days window.

Q:   When will the CUET final answer key be released?

A:

National testing Agency will release the CUET 2025 final answer key before the announcement of results. NTA releases the revised CUET answer key based on the objections received at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Candidates will be given oppotunity to challenge the CUET UG answer key 2025 within three days window. The date to challenge the answer key will be announced after the release of CUET answer key 2025. Only paid challenges made during the stipulated period will be considered. CUET answer key challenges without justification/evidence and those filed on any other medium other than the prescribed link for CUET UG will not be considered. CUET UG 2025 results will be compiled based on the final answer key. Candidates will not get the outcome of the challenges received.

How to Calculate Score Using CUET Answer Key?

The purpose of CUET answer keys is to calculate the estimated scores before the declaration of results. Candidates can do so by following the marking scheme given below:

  • +1 mark for each correct answer
  • -0.25 mark for each incorrect answer
  • 0 mark for unattempted questions

Q:   What is a good score in CUET UG?

A:

On analysing the CUET UG cut off for the academic year 2024-25, scoring above 700 marks can be considered a good score in CUET UG. Candidates scoring above 700 may fall in the category of 95+ percentile. Candidates can get admission to top universities like University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and other top central universities in the desired course. Given below is the range that is considered good for admission to top universities:

  • Very Good Score: 700 and above
  • Good Score: 650 and above

Score range between 400-649 is considered an average score. Admission on the basis of the average score can et into any decent college in India accepting CUET scores.

Q:   What is the CUET marking scheme?

A:

NTA prescribes the CUET UG marking scheme. Check below to know the CUET UG marking scheme 2025:

  • Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)
  • Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
  • Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
  • If more than one option is found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
  • If all options are found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
  • If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five marks (+5) marks.

Q:   What is the process after CUET answer key?

A:

NTA will release the CUET UG provisional answer key 2025 tentatively in first week of July 2025. Candidates will be able to challenge the CUET answer key 2025 within the given window in online mode only. On the basis of the challenges received, autorities releases the CUET 2025 revised answer key (expected in last week of July 2025). Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to calculate their scores for CUET 2025 before the declaration of results. 

CUET 2025 results are expected to be announced in third week of July 2025. On the basis of the score obtained, candidates will have to appear for the counselling process of the participating universities they have applied for. Candidates must ensure that they have registered for the courses and university they wish to apply in. On the basis of the applications received, participating releases the cut off or merit list. Candidates meeting the cut off criteria will be offered admission to desored UG course.

Steps to Challenge CUET 2025 Provisional Answer Key

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to challenge CUET 2025 answer key:

  • After logging in with the credentials at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/, click on 'View/Challenge Answer Keys'
  • Questions can be viewed in sequential order
  • The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA
  • To challenge one or more answer keys, candidates have to use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box 
  • Candidates can upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload. (all documents are to be put in a single PDF file)
  • Next, they have to scroll down and click on the 'Save Your Claim' tab and move to the next screen where all the challenged questions' Option IDs will be visible
  • Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’
  • Select Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.

Q:   When can I challenge the CUET answer key?

A:

CUET UG answer key challenge window will open tentatively in first week of July 2025. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to raise objections against the CUET UG answer key within the stipulated period of time. Candidates will have to pay the non-refundable fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. The CUET UG provisional answer key is displayed for two to three days. Only paid challenges made during the given period will be considered for revision. On the basis of the objections received, CUET UG 2025 final answer key will be released tentatively in last week of July 2025 at cuet.samarth.ac.in. NTA will not confirm the outcome of the CUET answer key challenges made. CUET UG 2025 result will be computed on the basis of the CUET final answer key 2025.

CUET is scored out of 800, and the exam comprises multiple-choice questions. The highest cut-off marks for DU admissions typically fall between 650-700. For admission to the B.Com (Hons) course, a score above 700 is considered good. For admission to the English (Hons) course, a score above 700-720 is considered good.
