Q: I had filled my CUET application form and submitted it, but my permanent address in my Aadhaar card is different. Is this an issue?
While filling the CUET application form, Aadhar card is used an identity proof and not for address proof. Candidates can choose to upload alternate document for verification process. If candidate has filled different address in CUET application form than what is mentioned in the Aadhar card won't create a problem. However, candidate is advised to update the Aadhar card details to avoid any problem.
Important Guidelines for CUET Exam Centre 2025
Test-takers must keep in mind the following guidelines:
- It is mandatory for the candidate to carry their respective CUET admit cards to the exam centre. Without the hall ticket, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam.
- Along with the hall ticket, the aspirant also has to carry valid identity proof such as Aadhaar Card/voter id/driving licence.
- The candidate should reach the allotted exam centre at least half an hour before the scheduled time as mentioned on the admit card.
- Students appearing for the entrance exam are not allowed to carry any electronic devices or paper.
- The student should also not engage in unfair means while giving the exam.

- Electronic devices such as calculators, cameras, electronic pens, scanners, etc.

Note- NTA reserves the right to add or remove any CUET 2025 exam centre city. Once candidates are allotted a city, they will not be able to request to change the test centre.
