UPCATET 2020 eligibility criteria for different BSc and BFSc courses is as given below:

BSc (Honours) Agriculture/ BSc (Honours) Horticulture/ BSc (Honours) Forestry: Candidates should have cleared Class XII with Agricultural Science/ Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subject to meet UPCATET 2017 eligibility criteria.
Bachelor in Fisheries Science (BFSc): Candidates should have cleared Class XII with Agricultural Science/ Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)/ Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subject to meet UPCATET 2020 eligibility criteria.
BSc (Honours) Home Science: Candidates should have cleared Class XII in Arts stream with Home Science/ PCB/ PCM/ PCMB/ Agricultural Science subject to be eligible for UPCATET exam. Only female candidates can opt for this course, informs the official website.

Age limit: As on December 31, 2020, candidates should be more than 16 years and less than 22 years in age. However, for BVSc&H course, candidates should be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years in age as on December 31, 2020. It may be noted that candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category have an age relaxation of five years for any course they apply.

UPCATET 2020 Admission Process

Step 1: Fill UPCATET Application Form

For UPCATET 2020 registrations, candidates can fill the application form in the online mode on the official website of the exam or offline mode. For offline applications, candidates can get their forms from the administrative offices of any participating university.

However, before filling the application form candidates need to pay UPCATET 2020 application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee either in the online mode (via net banking/ debit card) or in the offline mode (via SBI challan payable at any branch of SBI).

Q. Is there negative marking in UPCATET?

A. Yes, for each incorrect answer one mark will be deducted. For every right answer, three marks will be awarded.
