Admission to AMU for a BA is subject to the fulfilment of a specified set of eligibility criteria. Applicants must meet any one of the following criteria to be eligible to take admission to the said course:

• Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or an equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate

• Degree/Sanad from a recognised Madarsa/Institution with at least 50%

AMU BA tuition fee ranges between INR 25,500 and INR 40,500. The exact amount depends on the choice of specialisation. Aligarh Muslim University BA application process is conducted online. Interested candidates can visit the admission portal on the university's official website to submit their applications. Candidates seeking admission to the BA specialisations where CUET UG is the selection criteria must separately apply for the entrance exam by visiting the exam portal on NTA's website. Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMU counselling. This can be done by visiting the university's official website and clicking on "Online Counselling/Admission Portal". 4. Upload Documents:
   - Once logged in, upload the required documents. Ensure all documents are correctly scanned and legible.

5. Lock Choices:
   - Select and lock your choices from the available colleges and courses.

6. Submit Choices and Documents:
   - After locking your choices, submit the choices along with the uploaded documents.

Aligarh Muslim University accepts Persian/4 exam to shortlist candidates for admission to seven undergraduate courses.

Candidates seeking admission to any of the above-listed courses need to fill out the CUET application form through the CUET official website to appear for the entrance exam. The minimum marks required for admission to AMU depends on the selected course. Generally, for all the UG courses the minimum requirement is that the candidate must have passed class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate and for AMU PG courses admission, 50% in graduation is required.
