It is good for students who do not want to go for research or a Ph.D.
Placements: In a basic science course, there is no placement after B.Sc. You need to have at least an M.Sc. To work in industry, a lab, or as a research associate at a university. No recruiting company comes for a B.Sc. Students have to approach the industry by themselves. The same is true for internships; students have to apply to research institutes in India, and in most cases, they provide a stipend.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good for the faculty of life sciences. Wi-Fi-enabled departments and well-maintained research labs Classrooms are equipped with modern facilities, such as projectors. Each department has seminar library where student can read all the books related to their course But labs are not top-notch-oriented, so if a student thinks she is interested in the pure research field, this university would not be a good choice. Facilities are not that good in hostels, as the buildings are too old and have not been renovated. Food quality is average.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are well qualified but not all are really helpful; some are really pathetic at teaching. Sadly, Indian universities don't update their curriculum regularly, especially in the basic sciences. So obviously, basic sciences students are not industry-ready. The semester exams are that much difficult but most faculty apply hard marking.
Other: I took biochemistry as it is the flagship course in the faculty of life sciences, and obviously my interest aligns with it. The best thing is that most of the coursework is related to chemistry, so I don't have to memorize a lot of things. And obviously, it's a good foundation for interdisciplinary biomedical research as compared to the MBBS course. One sad thing about university is that fests and events are not supported by the administration; in fact, they oppose them, so you will be quite bored here; there are only studies and nothing interesting to do here. Sports and medical facilities are available at almost no cost. And the most important thing is that the administration is so slow that it took them six months to release the results of my semester. So sadly, I lost all of the internship opportunities.

    Our college provides good education.
Placements: The placement percentage is 60%. The highest salary package offered is 10.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6.2 LPA. Biocon, Roche, etc., visit our college. Around 40% of students got internships at Pfizer, Novartis, etc. Top roles offered are research scientist, lab manager, etc. Our college provides very good opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college provides decent facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The hostel is average. It provides average food. Medical and sports facilities are available in our college. Our college provides limited sports for girls.
Faculty: All professors are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are challenging. The pass rate is good. All teachers are very good. The standard of exams is good.
Other: Our course is good. Our college needs some improvements.

Promising Education with Room for improvement .
Placements: In the 2022 batch for B.Sc. Hons Biochemistry, approximately 70% of students were successfully placed. The highest package offered was 7LPA, the lowest was 3LPA. And the average package stood at 4.5LPA, Top recruiting companies included Biocon, Roche, And GSK. About 60% of students secured internships, with prominent companies like Novartis and Bio-Rad. Common roles offered were research Analyst, Lab Technician, and quality Control Analyst.
Infrastructure: AMU Offers great facilities for Biochemistry Students. Labs are well-equipped, classrooms have WI-FI, and the library is resourceful. Hostel quality varies, food is decent, medical facilities are available, same with sports facilities but it could be improved.
Faculty: Teachers in AMU's Biochemistry department are qualified, Knowledgeable, and supportive. The curriculum is relevant but could enhance industry readiness with more practical exposure. Semester exams are difficult, with pass percentage of around 70% teachers are not at all lenient with the marking.

    The cheapest place to study.
Placements: Roughly around 30-35% students get placed in this field. Mine package was about 3.5 Lacs per annum, while the avg is roughly about 4 Lacs per annum. I got this package due to good cgp in my academics and all. If I talk about the internship some of them with good score are able to attend internship.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available library and classrooms are not too much bad building is old about food not bad but sometimes they provide bad meal, sports and games is well maintained. But coach aren't available there so its a flaws, library is good facilities are provided there.
Faculty: The pattern of teaching is too old and the faculty member are there just to teach you and sometimes you have to manage by yourself. It won't make you industry ready but you can grab a decent tag. Semesters are too easy you just have to start studying a month before exam. First year its easy but if you go in second it would become some hard.

AMU is the top central university for a life science course with good facilities.
Placements: Almost all the students from our course got placed. I don't know the salary offered to the students. Top recruiting companies like Thermo Fisher, Biocone, etc., visit our campus for placements. Many students from our course get an internship. Roles like research analyst and development are offered to the students. We can also get various high posts according to the course and high qualifications.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our department are good, but the laboratory needs up-gradation. Hostel facilities are average. Quality of food served is average, but we don't get a variety of food in the hostel mess. Medical facilities are more than average. Sports and games are also more than average.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified. Some teachers teach us well, but few just make us write down notes. This course has a good scope in the industry domain. If we do any course of management, then we will have a better chance to excel in the industrial area.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is the best course for science students. I wish the college should improve laboratory facilities.

Hey, You must satisfy the minimum criteria required to give the entrance test and also you must have minimum cutoff of 55-60% in class 12th to be eligible to appear in the exams and counselling. Hence if the above criteria fulfills, you are good to go.
