Pros:

* Good infrastructure and facilities, including Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art laboratories, and libraries

Excellent infrastructure and atmosphere of Amity University.
Placements: Students who opted for placements were offered an average package of 3 lakh per annum. The top recruiting companies for the course were Amazon , Cisco and Wipro. Around 30% students got internship from my course in Amazon and Wipro. Top roles offered in the course are software developer and web developer.
Infrastructure: The faculties are highly qualified and very professional. The infrastructure of the college is very good. There is a wifi in each blocks of the campus a modem in every classroom. The classrooms are big and spacious and the library has all types of books. The hostel has spacious rooms and a big mess where all types of healthy foods are provided. The campus also has medical facilities along with sports complex.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They have masters degree in the subject they are teaching. They teach very clearly and it is easy to understand them. The curriculum is relevant and it makes the students ready to face the challenges in the industry. The semester are fairly difficult with a pass percentage of 40% .
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be well learnt in various programming languages. The best things about my course is the programming languages and the faculty. There is nothing about anything to be improved in the course. There are events held in the college for every major and minor festive occasion , by various clubs in the college.

Best University in Kolkata for Bachelor of Computer Applications.
Placements: The Center for Career Development at our college carries out active student training programs that help us secure placements. In previous years, almost 60% of BCA graduates have been placed. The top recruiting companies that come in for mass hiring every year are TCS, PwC, Trilogy, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, Rollick, Capgemini, HP and others. The highest and lowest salary packages were 3.5 LPA and 1.2 LPA, respectively.
Infrastructure: Amity Kolkata stands out because of its excellent infrastructure. We have a lush, green and opulent campus. There are dedicated research centers for several departments. We have a spacious auditorium and seminar halls in each department. The cafeteria provides tasty food at moderate rates. The hostel rooms are clean and semi-furnished. To meet our medical needs, we have a clinic.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are extremely helpful and help us with all our subject-related doubts. The course curriculum is well-designed and quite relevant to making us industry-ready. We get to know new programming languages, like Python. Semester examinations are difficult and the pattern is mostly concept-based.

Great infrastructure, good teaching, but below-average placements.
Placements: Around 5–6 people were placed in the batch of around 70 students. The average package was 3 LPA. The maximum package was 4.5 LPA. Top companies hiring were Genpact and EY. Everyone was provided an internship, which was unpaid, and some sort of training, which was eventually useless.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. It has Wi-Fi, great labs, a great classroom with AC, and a great library. The canteens are pure vegetables, and the taste was good. There was also a small medical facility for emergencies. We had a sports complex for indoor games and a field for outdoor games like football.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. They gave us good knowledge. Yes, the course curriculum was relevant and up-to-date. But the industry-based training was not provided, and there was a lack of coding training. Semester exams were a bit tough. 98% of students passed the exam, though.
Other: I had chosen it, as I had no choice at that moment during COVID. I will say they should focus on industry-oriented training and a good coding culture on campus. There were a lot of events every month, with Amiphoria being the flagship one.

It is one of the best colleges in West Bengal.
Placements: Placements are very good at our college. Our college is very helpful in placements, and many students get placed in very good companies with good salary packages. Some students took admission in the same college for their masters, while some students took admission in other colleges for masters.
Infrastructure: Our college hostel is very good, and the hostel has all the facilities. ABBR hostels have centralised air-conditioners, and Wi-Fi facility is available on the entire campus. In the hostel, separate medical facilities are available. There are badminton court and a separate sports complex. In our hostel, there is a total of 3 canteens.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very helpful, qualified and experienced. Some faculty members are passed out from one of the great universities of India like Banaras, Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, etc. They help us in every possible way and even after college timings.

Wonderful university with good placement rate and understanding faculty who help you.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students were placed in BCA course. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Dell, Google, Wipro, and Infosys. Top roles offered were data analysts, web designers, developers, programmers. The highest salary package offered in our course was 3.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course was 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course was 2.3 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got internships from our course in Infosys and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi for our department. There are separate toilet facilities for our department. The computer lab was present, and practicals were performed. The hostel was very clean, which lead to our good health and quality of food in the mess and canteen was average. It cannot be said bad as the food tasted good and was healthy too.
Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful. They all were qualified and highly knowledgeable. They always asked us if we had any doubt or not, and if we had any doubt, then they clear the doubt during the recess. If the whole class didn't understand the concept, then they explained again so that we learn the concept thoroughly. The course curriculum is perfectly relevant. All the activities conducted here, such as lab practicals, project works, makes us industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course as I was always fascinated by computers since childhood and decided to make a career in this field. The best thing about this course is that you come to learn all the basic to advanced things which refresh all the older concepts which we learnt during childhood. I wish more practicals were conducted to improve our learning. Many events were organised, such as treasure hunt, orientation programme, cake mixing competition, etc. Fest was organised, which really allowed students to show their cultural talents. Campus crowd was discipline, and we never had any conflict. We were all connected through university by SMS and website medium. The campus was large enough to accommodate all the students. Scholarships were provided to students who scored above 60%. Many extracurricular activities were done, such as treasure hunt, cake mixing competition, etc.
