The library is a nice place.

Placements: I have currently enrolled in campus placement. The college provides grooming classes where they teach us how to present us during an interview. Sometimes the classes are cancelled as students don't attend them. Got internships basically unpaid which I regretted doing because they asked me to do the internship which I didn't want to. Also, this was a rule so I couldn't do much.

Placements: Around 86% of students got placed. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Software developer is the top role offered. Almost 100% of students got internships from our course in fortune companies such as Prograd, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.

Placements: 80% of students got placed in our branch year. The highest salary package was 7 LPA and the lowest salary package was 3 LPA. Some top recruiters were Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Philips, etc. There for the best candidate selection. If you are good at communication skills then you will get a good package.

College is good for those who want to waste their parents' money.

Placements: During the internship break, the college didn't assist any students with getting internships. Plus when I asked for a simple NOC certificate to do an internship during the internship break, they talked about so many formalities that I lost the opportunity.

Our college has good fests and a campus life with great learning experiences.

Placements: The psychology department didn't have placements or internship opportunities. However, other departments have good placements, as I had heard the MBA department had good placements. But, I am not aware of any placements in our department. Other than that, my other experiences were great.

In this college, faculty members are great.

Placements: In case of B.Sc. in biotechnology, students generally go for M.Sc. before getting placed. So in case of getting chances at great, prestigious colleges in India and abroad. Amity can be considered a good place to complete bachelors degree in biotechnology. Other than that, students can placed in companies like Envigo, Nivanet, CVENT, Pepsi co, and so on.

It has excellent teachers, a great curriculum, awesome infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Most of the students went on to pursue further education, and most of them went to other colleges. Since most of the students pursue further after completion of graduation, it does not affect the placement. Especially it is a private college, so it is assumed that most of the students are from well-to-do families, which means they are not in need of jobs and have a choice whether to pursue a job or education. Hence, placements are not much of an issue. Still, it would have been better. After com...

It has an amazing campus life.

Placements: The first batch hasn't passed out yet. From what I have heard B.Tech computer science students got amazing placements the previous year. Average graded students have got a salary package of 12 LPA and most of the students have rejected placements and gone abroad. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft Google, Amazon, etc. Only the top 5 students get placements here. The rest of the students get placements for IT departments in certain companies.

An honest review of Amity University, Kolkata.

Placements: The placements are very good, but it depends on your efforts to get placed. If you are very good at your studies but not active during placements, the college doesn't take the responsibility for it.

It is a very good campus and is like a home.

Placements: For B.Sc the program, there are no placements. The college provides every student with one internship after the 2nd year, and the place is more or less fixed in Calcutta Mathematical society for most of the students. If the batch is lucky enough then different colleges also provide but not through the placement cell. In our case, it was so because our faculty members had someone known in some other college/institute). Internships are also research-based.

Placements: Graduate engineer trainee or system engineer roles are offered. It mostly depends upon your location. The salary packages offered vary from 2 LPA to 24 LPA depending upon your branch. Most CS students get higher salary packages. In civil or mechanical, core companies give you 3 LPA or if you are going to IT then it was 4 LPA.

Moderately satisfied, because of the management, good faculty, great infrastructure and campus life.

Placements: We didn't have placements. We were B.A. course so we didn't have placements. We were informed about it from the beginning. Amity is transparent about their information. Higher degrees have placements from amity. As AB students we don't get placements from amity.
