Amity is what you make of it.

Placements: Most students who take a B.Sc. at Amity either want to join their family business or pursue higher education from somewhere international. There are a few other courses that provide good placements in B.Sc. Physics alone doesn't attract many employers. Many students come back here for M.Sc. after completing their B.Sc.

Infrastructure: The labs are alright. The classrooms are good. The hostels are really bad, especially the girl hostel. There are tiny rooms with no windows, and they impose unnecessary rules on students regarding out passes. It's hard to get permission to go out if you want to travel or go to a friend's place for a night, even if your parents allow it.

Faculty: Amity is what you make of it. They do not go too deep into topics and keep the majors precise and clean. They will provide assignments and notes for exams. This means you don't need to invest too much time to score well in college exams. Which means you can invest time in other activities and prepare for other entrance exams. You get to do a research project, which depends on the guide you choose. There are a limited number of guides.

Other: I chose B.Sc. Physics with research to get hands-on experience in this field. If I could change something, it would be more exposure and lectures by visiting faculty members on our research topics.
