ANUPGCET 2020 will have 100 multiple choice questions and each question carries 1 mark to be answered in 90 minutes. No negative marking will be done for incorrect answers so the canddiates are free to attempt questions for which they are not sure with the answers. For the 2020-21 academic year, the exam pattern and marking scheme will be as it was earlier. The exam will be conducted in offline mode, i.e. pen and paper test.

Exam Pattern

The ANUPGCET exam pattern will be as such that the question paper will be asked in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for all courses. The exam duration will be 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes) and the exam medium will be in English and Telugu.

Marking Scheme

1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking.

ANUPGCET Marking Scheme

The ANUPGCET marking scheme is as such that 100 questions will be asked and the total marks that can be secured is 100. 1 mark will be awarded per correct answer. There will be no negative marking. For leaving the answer unattempted, no marks will be given.

A. No. The candidates will have to mark their answers on the OMR sheet which will be provided to them at the exam centre.

A. The entrance exam will be 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes).

Q. Will there be negative marking in ANUPGCET for the 2020 year?

A. No. There will be no negative marking. Marks will not be deducted for wrong answers.

Q. For the MSc Mathematics, can I carry a calculator?

A. No. Calculators are not allowed to the exam centre at any costs. Candidates will be provided with rough sheets to do their calculations.

Q. Can I leave the entrance exam if I have finished my paper?

A. After one hour of completion of the paper, the candidate can submit their answer script and leave.

A. The total marks is 100. 1 mark will be given per correct answer.

Q. What documents need to be carried to the exam centre?

A. The candidate is supposed to carry their ANUPGCET admit card and their government authorized ID such as Aadhar Card/Passport/Driving License/Voter’s ID.

Q. Can I show my application form if I do not have my admit card?

A. No. The candidate has to carry their admit card to the exam centre. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam.
